Sam converted a couple of smooth reverse layups, knocked down a confident straightaway 3 off the catch, and finished a back-cut layup. She continuously pursued rebounds and jumped passes to create steals. Sam plays in a way that gives the team balance on both ends when she is on the floor.

Sam contributed to her team’s success by making plays on both sides of the court to help her team earn a decisive win at the Swartz Creek Showcase on Saturday. Sam made excellent reads on offense, which led to back-cut layups, and threw an impressive lob entry pass to a cutter. She anticipated passes to create several steals and made unselfish extra passes to give teammates open looks. Sam buried a smooth pull-up mid-range jumper and added a confident wing 3. Sam led the team with 11 points and earned All-Showcase First Team Honors.
