If you want to be the #1 prospect for your Class within your home-state, you need to check off a lot of boxes. You need to be physically dominant in some form, you need to be extremely skilled, and you have to still have a high ceiling looking towards the future. Someone who checks all of these boxes for the 2028 Class in Nebraska is PG, [player_tooltip player_id='884234' first='Da'Nyla' last='Tatum']. Tatum has a killer crossover, impressive body control at the bucket, she can create and find open teammates at a high rate, all while leading by example as a top notch communicator and motivator. When she has been at Live College Viewing events these past three months she has been a standout to everyone watching in attendance and I'm sure that trend is going to continue moving into July.

[player_tooltip player_id='882862' first='Alivia' last='Kuhn'] made the move to All Iowa Attack in Des Moines this AAU season to compete on their 15U EYCL team. Kuhn, a 5'9 CG, showed a ton of promise during her Freshman campaign at Marian High School. She was someone that her team looked to on both sides of the floor to make impactful and game-winning plays. She did this time and time again, making her name known as one of the, "big dawgs", that the state of Nebraska has to offer. Following that she picked up right where she left off. She is someone that has been an impactful player this Spring and that keeps her in our #2 spot in this Update.

One of the most well-rounded players that the state of Nebraska has to offer is [player_tooltip player_id='882863' first='Payton' last='Dolliver'] of Malcolm High School. This is a hooper that really stepped up last year in her team's need. She came in as a Freshman and played confidently through her ability, which led to some solid individual stat lines and meaningful W's. It's going to be fun to see what she is able to do this upcoming Winter when Malcolm has their star back in play in [player_tooltip player_id='757558' first='Halle' last='Dolliver']. The Dolliver's could be the best duo that the state has these next twelve months but who knows. We will have to wait and see how it plays out.

[player_tooltip player_id='882864' first='Allie' last='John'] of Bennington High School moves in this Update to #4 within the 2028 Class. John, a 6'1 Forward, is a taller prospect that can spread the floor and college coaches are starting to see that more and more on the road this season. Moving into this month of June, several D1 programs have reached out to John in attempts to get her on campus over these next few months. Including some Ivey League programs and some other highly sort after Universities. If John continues to work on her game, she stays motivated, and she keeps it simple - she will be stacking up the collegiate offers before you know it. Like we always say, you can't teach height and when you pair that along with touch, athleticism, and smarts - you get a killer at the end of the day. That's what we could have here.

Jumping into the Top Five for the first time in her young career is [player_tooltip player_id='884640' first='Aubrey' last='Carder'] of Millard South High School and [program_tooltip program_id='712709' first='Nebraska' last='Attack'] UAA at #5. Carder not only stood out on the Varsity floor these past six months, she also is playing up a grade level on the GUAA Circuit, putting together some eye-catching weekends on the road. This Top Five is going to be ever changing at this rate. Anyone of these players listed could have an argument for being in any spot in the right context so now it's going to be all about production.
