Jenna, the point guard for Mystics S40, made an impressive return to the floor in her first tournament back from injury, showing little to no rust in her game. She looked comfortable running the offense, handling the ball with confidence and making smart decisions as a facilitator. Her quick crossover consistently created separation, allowing her to get into the lane and generate scoring chances for herself and others. Jenna did a strong job of setting up teammates while also picking her spots offensively. She also flashed her athletic ability on the defensive end, highlighted by an eye-catching block on a post player, proving she can impact the game on both sides of the ball.

Jenna is a freshman who will be breathing new life into the Bay City Western program this winter as they look to turn the tide in the competitive SVL North Division. I’ve seen Jenna compete several times now at showcases, elite camps, and travel tourneys. She has advanced ball-handling control and combination dribbles for her age. Jenna keeps defenders on their heels and fires passes on a rope to open teammates. She finishes effectively with both hands and has skilled footwork around the basket. Jenna put on a clinic during the finishing drills. She handled the ball with poise for Team Liberty and stretched the defense with her perimeter shooting. Jenna will be a prospect to follow closely this winter, and she had a solid day at the Headliners Invitational.

Jenna had an impressive showing at the Wade’s World Fall Showcase, standing out as a polished and shifty guard. She used a smooth hesitation move to blow by defenders and create scoring opportunities, and on one possession during 5v5, she picked off an inbound pass and quickly turned it into points. Jenna also showed her shooting touch, knocking down shots from beyond the arc, making her a versatile offensive threat on the floor.

Jenna stood out as a top performer at the PGH Freshman Showcase, using her quickness to ignite fast breaks and keep the tempo high. As a skilled ball handler, she controlled the game well and confidently drained multiple shots from deep. Her defensive intensity and ability to stay in front of opponents added value on both ends of the floor, making her a vital asset for her team.

Jenna was a top performer for Team 7 at the PGH Freshman Showcase, standing out with her two-way impact. As a guard, she applied strong defensive pressure, quickly turned stops into fast-break opportunities, and consistently made smart decisions with the ball. She also showed her shooting range, knocking down multiple shots from beyond the arc with confidence.

Jenna had an outstanding day for Bay City Western at the Au Sable shootout. She handled the ball confidently with both hands and used a series of crossover combinations to beat pressure. Jenna is a sharpshooter, and she buried multiple three-pointers with confidence off the hop. Jenna froze her defender with a shot-fake and dropped in a contested floater. She dribbled into a straightaway triple that ripped the net and fired strong chest passes that hit teammates in stride. Jenna stole a perimeter pass and took it the other way to score a layup off two feet. She stole the ball away again and knocked down a free throw jumper. Jenna is going to be an immediate impact player at the Varsity level, and we hope to see her compete at our Freshman Showcase in August!
