Chandler competes with maximum effort, hustle, and toughness whenever she steps onto the court. She’s a dangerous three-point shooter who has the shiftiness and ball-handling control to create separation, then accelerate to the rim for layups. Chandler sees the floor and facilitates the ball effectively. She separated herself at the PGH Michigan Expo with her accuracy from the perimeter and looks ready to play an important role this winter for an extremely talented Powers Catholic team.

Chandler found her rhythm quickly during 3v3 play and was one of the players who really got hot from behind the arc. She connected on multiple threes, showing the ability to string makes together once she got going. Chandler carried that confidence into 5v5 action and showed that she wasn’t limited to scoring from deep. With the ball in her hands, she used a quick crossover to create separation from her defender before smoothly pulling up and knocking down a mid-range jumper. Her combination of a good handle, perimeter shooting, and the ability to create space off the dribble made her difficult to contain.

Chandler, a 2029 guard, made her presence felt during the 5-on-5 action at the Northwood Elite Camp. She showed toughness around the basket, converting an and-one opportunity while finishing through contact. On the defensive end, Chandler displayed active hands and did a good job disrupting plays. Her ability to contribute on both ends of the floor made for a solid showing at the camp.

Chandler was one of the underclassmen who made a strong impression at the Davenport Elite Camp with her combination of skill, quickness, and defensive intensity. She stood out during the skill sessions thanks to her tight ball handling and ability to change directions effortlessly, making her difficult to contain in drills. Once live play began, Chandler continued to shine by applying relentless pressure on the defensive end, consistently making opponents uncomfortable with her effort and activity. Offensively, she showed the ability to attack gaps and get to the basket, using her quickness to create advantages off the dribble. She also stretched the floor by knocking down a shot from beyond the arc. Her energy, competitiveness, and two-way impact made her one of the more impressive underclassmen in attendance.

Patton is all about stop, pop, shoot, and swish!  Ohhhhh she’s got the shooting touch from deep!  And I love how she plays with intensity on both ends of the ball!  She communicates with her teammates and demonstrates encouragement throughout the game! (Below passing)

Chandler, a guard for Mystics 15U S40, had a great day Saturday at the MI College Tour Northwood, making her presence felt on both ends of the floor. She was a relentless defender, applying constant pressure and coming away with multiple steals, including a few she turned into fast-break points on the other end. While her defense stood out, she also contributed offensively by knocking down shots from beyond the arc and attacking the lane with her quickness. She showed the ability to get downhill and create for others as well, highlighted by a strong drive-and-kick play. Chandler’s two-way effort made for a well-rounded performance.

Chandler has a non-stop motor on the court. She makes plays to help the team succeed on both ends. Chandler moved her feet quickly to turn ball-handlers and cut off drives. She changed directions suddenly, using shifty crossover and between-the-leg combos, then drove by with a burst to earn trips to the foul line. Chandler used a pocket dribble, crossed over her defender, changed hands in the lane, and finished with her left in traffic. She’s a speedy, compact point guard who can shoot from the perimeter, slash to the hoop, defend, and set up teammates. Chandler’s shown clear progress over the past year, especially with her ball-handling. She had a great opening weekend for Mystics 15U S40 at the PGH MI College Tour.

Chandler demonstrated true toughness by playing through a hand injury during the Headliners Invitational. She found a way to make a noticeable impact for Team Liberty and was a fantastic facilitator. Chandler’s court vision in transition and accurate passes resulted in many assists. One of her best plays was a quick spin dribble drive down the baseline and a perfect hammer pass to the opposite corner. She jumped into the passing lane for a steal on defense, converted layups, and shot the ball with confidence from beyond the arc. Chandler will be an exciting guard to watch at Powers Catholic.
