Klote is a gritty 5’11 forward who brings toughness and effort to every possession. Though her varsity minutes were limited last season on Mayo’s veteran roster, she makes the most of her opportunities in AAU and on JV with relentless work on the glass and physical play in the paint. She’s a scrappy competitor who battles for offensive rebounds, finishes through contact, and never stops competing. Klote also shows flashes of perimeter ability – knocking down jumpers and attacking off the dribble. With her length, mobility, and willingness to do the dirty work, she has strong two-way potential and is clearly trending upward.

Klote battles inside with toughness, repeatedly crashing the offensive glass until she converts. We were impressed with how she wouldn’t give up on the battle when the going got tough in traffic down low. She’s not afraid of contact and brings grit to her role. At the same time, the Mayo forward shows perimeter skill, hitting outside shots and attacking off the dribble when given space. With her length, mobility, and willingness to work, Klote has nice two-way potential for the next level as she continues to develop.
