PGH Illinois Freshman Showcase: Team 9/10 Review

Each player's evaluation is based on their performance in this one-day event. She can be your primary playmaker or slide in as your go to scorer. Very talented.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='877095' first='Justyce' last='Washington']</strong> - An active guard who plays with a lot of fire and aggression. She's not afraid to attack the paint even with bigger players waiting in the post.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1227479' first='Caygan' last='Jones']</strong> - From a length standpoint, Caygan is a hard assignment. She has a quickness about her that will leave you behind if you're not prepared for it. She can get to the rim in a small number of dribbles and uses her length to finish over rather than finishing through. Can extend the floor as well.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>I<strong>ngrid Meyer</strong> - On the boards, Ingrid made her presence felt. She has the length to grab a strong amount of boards, no matter if it's on defense or offense. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1214675' first='Evie' last='Riopell']</strong> - Evie had no fear of stretching the court, whether it was off the catch and shoot, or off her own creation (usually a stepback), she is a hunter with a good amount of confidence.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1273469' first='Juliette' last='Duff']</strong> - Duff has a strong and smooth form, and her confidence never wavered even after missing a couple in a row. A player who could be impactful in a focal point role, as well as a complementary role. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1209232' first='Riley' last='Herron']</strong> - One of those slashing wings that can get it going off easy feeds, or impact the boards on both ends of the floor. Can score from the perimeter as well. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>[player_tooltip player_id='1219320' first='Olivia' last='Dube'] - Dube did everything her team needed from on the boards. In the games that I watched, most of it was on the offensive side, which showed how determined she was to get another possession for her team.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:separator --> <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" /> <!-- /wp:separator --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1274643' first='Payton' last='Czupowski']</strong> - <em>Peyton is a guard who can be pesky on defense or cause problems by being in constant motion on the offensive end.</em></li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1221276' first='Bryna' last='Snow']</strong> - <em>A lengthy guard who can make plays with or without the ball. She brought the ball up on a couple of possessions and seemed calm, not rushed.</em></li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1279843' first='Avery' last='Makris']</strong> - <em>Easily one of the most talented kids in the gym. Makris plays the game off pure instincts, and she trusts them on every possession.</em></li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1221301' first='Milana' last='Iseman']</strong> - <em>Whatever possession Iseman was used in, she made sure she added pressure to the defense. She's a lefty who can stretch the floor or get to the rim.</em></li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='877631' first='Brooke' last='Stafford']</strong> - <em>A complimentary player who can be utilized in a multitude of ways because of her understanding of how to be a team player.</em></li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1250132' first='Adelyn' last='Estabrook']</strong> - <em>Estabrook ceiling is HIGH, and this kid is beyond talented for her age. She is strong on every drive, can shoot the long ball, get to her spot in the midrange, and remain composed through it all.
