PGH The Expo: Team 3 Evals

She uses jabs, ball fakes, reads screens well, and understands how to set her defender up to gain the advantage and get going to the hoop.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1151396' first='Nayvi' last='Robinson'] | PG | Bellevue | 2028</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A point guard who gets it. Plays with pace, eyes always up and scanning the floor, and uses her eyes and vision to shift defenders and create lanes to drive down. Made some spectacular passes, but also made some subtle moves to open up easy passes. Has the touch, timing, and feel to make just about any pass on the floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1013565' first='Emme' last='Livingston'] | SG | Sherwood (OR) | 2028</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Showed off a high IQ at the event and really stood out on the defensive end. Had great communication, talking through screens, switches, and making some key calls from the helpside. Worked hard to cut down drives, stepped up quickly to meet drivers outside the paint, and finished out defensive possessions with boxouts and boards.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1312714' first='Alisha' last='Yallup'] | PF | Madras (OR) | 2027</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Did a great job communicating off the ball on defense and in transition. Worked hard to stay in position, box out, and chase down boards. Was ready with hands up to get feeds by the hoop and worked hard to get up and down the court with her guards pushing the pace.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='837898' first='Kyla' last='Buse'] | SG | West Linn (OR) | 2027</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lengthy player who showed a good motor and the fight to compete for 50/50 balls, long rebounds, and contested boards inside. Good touch out with her jumper, ran the floor, and finished with strength through contact. Used her size well around the paint and showed off good skill to pair with her size, creating some mismatches.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1240931' first='Jemma' last='James'] | PG | Lummi | 2027</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A scrappy defender who played physical and was constantly getting up into ballhandlers and making them uncomfortable. Loved her confidence with the ball, pushing the ball up in transition, finding gaps, feeling space for high-percentage shots, and showing she can weave her way to dangerous areas.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='751233' first='Taylor' last='Tsuchikawa'] | PG | Redmond | 2027</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Quick guard who nullified any length advantage defenders had with her tight handle and ability to change speeds and direction. Was able to create separation on the perimeter to open passing lanes and see the whole floor, and also attacked gaps without forcing. Showed some good touch and recognition to find cutters and get the ball inside.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1314507' first='Jaemie' last='Eggers'] | SF | Woodinville | 2027</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Very versatile forward who played equally well from the block and around the paint as she did from the perimeter. Had some great seals on the pick-and-roll to open up passes into the paint. Used a good power dribble to gather herself and go up strong. And was money from behind the arc, knocking down a high percentage of her outside shots.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1114653' first='Ileana' last='Olteanu'] | CG | Lake Washington | 2027</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Strong guard who split defenders on the perimeter and closer in with some crafty moves and pickups. Can score inside and out, and used her size and handle to create some advantages and get the ball into the middle off the bounce, where she was able to score or create for others.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
