Benson 5-foot-10 sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1125424' first='Kyoko' last='Beasley'] rises to No. 4 in Oregon's class of 2028 rankings after an exciting summer with Jason Kidd Select. Beasley's club team won the 15U Division Power 24 national championship, where she was named to the First Team and MVP. In September, Beasley earned a Division 1 offer from Cal (ACC). The lengthy point guard is a creative ball handler with excellent vision and passing abilities. She can drain the open pull-up three from deep and also in tight spaces around screens. She has good body control and patiently uses the fundamental jump stop to keep her options open downhill. She can turn the corner and slip by to finish at the rim uncontested or find the cutter for the easy bucket. The sophomore should run the offense again for the Astros, this year with a new level of composure. Last season, Benson was eliminated by West Linn by 2 points in a second-round playoff game that went down to the wire. The Astros should return all of their starters, be the top contender for the PIL title, and earn their way to the 6A state tournament this upcoming season.

Southridge 5-foot-9 sophomore combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='1231681' first='Camryn' last='Herzberg'] moves into the top 5 in the class of 2028 rankings. Over the summer, Herzberg was called up to play in the 17U Division of the Select Events Power 24 national tournament with [program_tooltip program_id='1035055' first='Northwest' last='Select']. She is a tremendous athlete with a strong frame who makes simple basketball plays. Herzberg has an impact on the game with or without the ball. She cuts when she should and holds space when she should. She takes care of the rock, she can drive and shoot, and she's an excellent defender. Herzberg and [player_tooltip player_id='832605' first='Sara' last='Mangan'] will be one of the top backcourt duos in 6A this upcoming season.

Hermiston 5-foot-10 sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='902188' first='Sofia' last='Rodriguez'] moves up to No. 9 in the class of 2028 rankings. Over the summer, Rodriguez ran with [program_tooltip program_id='713147' first='Oregon' last='Elite']'s top 17U squad and stepped in to fill the starting point guard role. Rodriguez developed her ability to run the offense, make the right read, and create her own shot against a high level of national competition. She's a shooter who can connect from midrange and three-point range. She has good handles and vision. She has good length and quick feet. Rodriguez's perimeter game combined with [player_tooltip player_id='1255629' first='Lucy' last='Teegarden']'s inside game will be one to watch out for at Hermiston.

Tualatin 5-foot-9 combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='1208223' first='Bella' last='Amens'] rises to No. 13 in Oregon's class of 2028 rankings. Over the summer, Amens ran with Tripl3 17U in the Nike Tournament of Champions circuit. Amens is a fast athlete with a small frame who makes a big impact on both ends. She's speedy downhill and has a nice midrange game. She can race everyone up and down the court and is an excellent perimeter defender. Amens should continue to provide Tualatin with depth at the guard position as the defending state champions look to win back-to-back titles this season.
