The 2025 Expo was packed with talent as 80 prospects hit the floor on September 27th. The event format featured four hours of nonstop action, with players rotating through organized 3v3 and 5v5 matchups. One of the key benefits of the showcase is the media exposure—coverage from our scouts has already drawn thousands of views on X, and our post-event writeups are read by hundreds more. Every athlete who participates is highlighted in these articles, which makes the Prep Girls Hoops showcases such a unique and valuable experience. Players also had the chance to compete in front of various college coaches throughout the day. My focus this time was on Teams 1, 2, 7, 9, and 10. Let's start with some standout moments from Team 1!

Allie put together a strong performance for Team 1 at the PGH Expo, showcasing her high energy and ability to impact the game in a variety of ways. She shot the ball well from beyond the arc, handled the ball smoothly with either hand, and consistently made the right play. Defensively, she brought great effort and communication, keeping her teammates locked in and engaged. On top of that, her vision and passing created scoring chances for others, making her a reliable playmaker on the floor.

Karsyn, running the point for Team 1 at the PGH Expo, impressed with her ability to create opportunities for others and herself. She consistently attacked the lane, forcing help defenders to collapse before dishing the ball out to open teammates for clean looks. Off the ball, she timed her cuts well, slipping into gaps in the defense and finishing plays with confidence. Her decision-making and activity on the floor made her a steady and impactful presence throughout the event.

Karleigh brought nonstop energy for Team 1 at the PGH Expo and made her presence felt with her relentless effort. She chased down offensive boards and turned them into second-chance points with tough put-backs, while also showing her versatility by grabbing a defensive rebound and taking it coast to coast. On the defensive end, she was locked in and tough to score against, using her hustle and awareness to disrupt plays. Any college program would benefit from a player with her motor and competitiveness, and she looks poised for a big senior season this winter.

Emily shined as one of the top performers for Team 1 at the PGH Expo, showing off her complete skill set on both ends of the floor. She was red-hot from three-point range, confidently knocking down shots whenever the defense gave her space. In transition, she kept her vision up and delivered sharp passes to teammates, while handling defensive pressure with poise. On defense, she was just as impressive, stripping the ball multiple times and coming up with a couple of key blocks. Emily's ability to dominate as both a scorer and defender made her one of the most impactful players of the day.

Brooke made her mark as one of Team 1's top performers at the PGH Expo with her relentless hustle and versatile game. She battled hard on the boards, diving on the floor for loose balls and turning extra possessions into opportunities. Offensively, she showed great execution in the pick-and-roll, highlighted by a strong left-handed finish at the rim. Brooke also proved she could handle the ball in space, pushing defensive rebounds coast to coast to create plays. On top of that, she knocked down shots from behind the arc and added a few blocks on the defensive end, showcasing her all-around impact.

Jayla, a left-handed post for Team 1, impressed with her strength and effort throughout the PGH Expo. She battled on the boards with toughness, consistently fighting for rebounds on both ends of the floor. While she did the dirty work inside, she also showed flashes of her versatility, grabbing a defensive rebound and pushing it coast to coast with confidence. Her combination of power, work ethic, and skill makes her a steady presence in the paint.

Alleyah stood out as one of Team 1's top performers at the PGH Expo, showcasing a versatile offensive game and strong defensive presence. She impressed with her crafty ball-handling, using quick moves and a smooth between-the-legs pull-through to keep defenders off balance. Alleyah knocked down a step-back mid-range jumper and displayed a variety of finishes around the basket, including a controlled floater in traffic. On defense, she competed with intensity, making it difficult for opponents to get comfortable. Her combination of skill, creativity, and toughness made her a standout player on the court.

Daviya made a strong impact for Team 1 at the PGH Expo with her tenacious play on both ends of the court. On defense, she used quick hands and smart anticipation to disrupt opponents, even turning a steal into a coast-to-coast opportunity. She also showed great effort on the glass, outworking others for offensive rebounds and converting them into put-backs. Her energy, awareness, and hustle made her a steady and valuable presence throughout the day.
