Senior urgency. It's the magical term used to describe seniors who find that extra 10% by digging deep come playoff time to create personal bests and moments that last forever for themselves and their teams. While it's already November and only scrimmages, there's already seniors looking their best. It's a good sign that they'll be able to find that extra 10% to produce come playoff time.

For the second time in three weekends, Atkinson was drilling threes at a high rate. Anytime she was left often from three, she made it look like layups. Then her physicality on defense was a cut above, harassing and making life rough for opposing guards. She often picked up near full court and uses her feet and strength to cut off and borderline bully opposing guards. If she's playing like this in November, good luck to teams trying to take LCS' crown in March.

Yokley is a big guard, who can be a major mismatch problem. Took a bit of a wake up call against a tough LCS match up to start the day. Still even in the difficult match up, her ability to shield the ball defenders was crucial in bringing the ball up and running the show. Knows how to post up and attack mismatches against smaller guards. Really got to work later in the day, being physical with a "dawg" like mentality around the rim. There's a lot of talent throughout the Lady Ram roster, but this senior's ability to set the tone will be crucial for them to reach their high ceiling.

Powell was a walking bucket in the two scrimmages watched. Was consistently money from downtown. Impressively was equally consistent around the rim. She was getting hammered on some her finishes at the rim, and still had the strength and touch to score. The senior looks set to consistently put up 20+ points a night for the Lady Patriots.

Warford has a cannon for an arm and was tossing her trademark outlet passes with ease. Along with sparking transition points, she was a rock solid, traditional PG. Often drove with the purpose to create for others. Good bounce passes to her teammates near the rim. Or finding shooters along the perimeter. Must be respected from the perimeter as a shooter, which helps open up her creating abilities. Her long arms also allow her to get in the passing lanes and even record an occasional block or two. The Mustangs finished a game short of State last year. They're currently waiting for fellow senior Seaba to recover from an injury, Warford is keeping them running.

Good athlete with a plus wingspan. McElwee was a shot maker for a battling Lady Charger squad. Shoots it clean from distance, hitting from three off the bounce. Has a good stepback move to her create space, especially impressive with how quickly and far she can hop back. Interesting prospect for local JuCo programs, as while a bit raw in some areas she appears to have the shooting, size and athleticism to be a potential gem.

A bright spot for Jay, Greer is a 3 and D two guard. Light on her feet athlete. Good defensive awareness and reactions often led to her running down loose balls or causing steals. Had some tough finishes around the rim. And also showed range from beyond the high school three point line.
