For the second time in three weekends, Atkinson was drilling threes at a high rate. Anytime she was left often from three, she made it look like layups. Then her physicality on defense was a cut above, harassing and making life rough for opposing guards. She often picked up near full court and uses her feet and strength to cut off and borderline bully opposing guards. If she’s playing like this in November, good luck to teams trying to take LCS’ crown in March.

Last season, LCS finished the mission with a Class 4A State Tournament title. And Atkinson led the Lady Bulldogs in made three pointers as a key piece for their run. She’s also earned praise from all over the country for her shooting ability during grassroots play the last few years. Now she’ll be letting it fly for one more year at the prep level, before going northeast on I44 to D2 Missouri Southern in Joplin.

Sharpshooter and winner. Helped deliver Gold to LCS in a loaded Class 4A this past spring. While also hooping all over the country over recent years with a very competitive AAU schedule. Had her fair share of D2 offers, but recently committed to Missouri Southern. A program that has recruited very well in Oklahoma in recent years. Expect Atkinson to keep impacting winning for a LCS team that will be one of the best teams in the state, regardless of class.

A shooting guard that has nice quick release. Listed as a shooting guard but I watched her play the 1-3 spots and even the 4 guard if running 4 out 1 in. To be a member of the stat sheet team you have to be full throttle in between the lines to fill up the stat sheet. A player that looked like she could give you double digits in any category. A very versatile player that competes to win. One of those players that you want on your team.

Atkinson torched the nets last year on the Adidas 3SSB 16U circuit, including standout games at nationals. Now is a crucial piece, who stars in her role for 4A contenders Lincoln Christian. Picked up an offer earlier this season for Arkansas Fort Smith. Which should be the first of many for regional programs looking to add shooting and winning experience to their rosters in the fall of 2026.

Game Watched: Team Trae Young 2026 3SSB vs Woods Elite
Atkinson enjoyed a very strong July with TTY and their opening contest in Louisville was a great example of that. She simply looks automatic as a spot up threat. While also displaying good off the ball defensive principles and smart aggression. Being a smart shooter also means she knows how to track the ball’s trajectory and where misses are going to be on the offensive end. Every team could use a shooter like Atkinson who also finds other ways to chip in and impact winning.
