There are big changes from the preseason rankings and over the next week we will take a deep dive into the rankings. Look for pieces on the top guards, top forwards, biggest sleepers and more. Photo by Bryan Terry, The OklahomanNo. 1 overall player Aaliyah Moore Aaliyah Moore 6'0" | PF West Bend West | 2020 State WI (Moore HS) may be the best prospect to come out of the state of Oklahoma in years. She plays inside with the best of them and can step out and shoot any time she is called upon. Simply put, Moore is a scoring machine. She remains uncommitted despite offers from 25 programs and counting.
Moore is not the only big at the top of her class. In fact, the top four players in the state of Oklahoma are all forwards or centers over six feet. No. 2 Chantae Embry Chantae Embry 6'1" | PF Norman | 2021 State #72 Nation OK (Norman), No. 3 Emrie Ellis Emrie Ellis 6'2" | SF Vanoss | 2021 State #53 Nation OK (Vanoss) and No. 4 Kendra Gillispie Kendra Gillispie 6'2" | PF Harding Charter | 2021 State #70 Nation OK (Harding Charter) are all powerful forces inside and could be interchangeable between the two and four spots. The grassroots schedule and their senior seasons may see a little more differentiation between the three, but I would not count on it.
