[player_tooltip player_id='880911' first='Victoria' last='Burpo'] is a handful for most underneath the hoop with her mixture of size, physicality, and coordinated footwork. Burpo comes in right around 6'0 and she handlers her own in the middle. She is a PF that takes up a lot of space with her post ability. If she gets her back to the basket with time and spacing, it's usually an easy bucket because the opponent can't handle the physicality. Defensively, Burpo alters a lot of shots with her presence alone. Guards that break past NW's first line of defense are in for a rude awakening when they see Burpo in between the blocks. Overall, there is some promise here. She competes at a solid rate so as long as she works on being her best at her Forward position, she should continue to see results.

Hinton is in a respectable spot within the 2A Class and a big reason for that is their size as a group. Someone that really holds it down for this crew, that was a playmaker as a Freshman last Winter, is [player_tooltip player_id='1190186' first='Raelyn' last='Kempema']. In reality Kempema is one of the most well-rounded prospects out of the Forward position for the 2028 Class. She has that size every coach loves, she moves well to pair along with that size, and she can also spread the floor from the outside in a number of different ways. If Hinton wants to make it back2back 2A State Titles, Kempema is going to be a major piece to that puzzle. The more she can control, the easier it becomes for everyone else so that will be intriguing to see as we move into 2026.

Camanche has a shining light in [player_tooltip player_id='896412' first='Jenna' last='Dunlap'] at the PF spot. Out of her area, Dunlap is a tough individual to keep a handle on throughout the entire duration of a contest. She comes in right around 6'0 and she has a solid understanding of what to do when. That might seem like common sense but common sense isn't so common nowadays. If you are a player that understands the in's and out's of situational basketball, it can carry you a long way in this game and we are starting to see that more and more out of Dunlap. She makes easy plays, she uses her size whenever plausible to dominate, and she isn't afraid to mix it up with anyone that might come in her way. I'm not sure how Camanche fairs the rest of this Winter but I know that Dunlap is going to be someone we hear about consistently because of her production moving forward under the bucket.

You would consider [player_tooltip player_id='1185787' first='Rachel' last='Knepper'] of Don Bosco as an undersized SF or an averaged sized CG, depending who you ask. Knepper hopped onto the scene last Winter for this group and made her mark throughout the season. It's nice to see that she is building off of that to start her Sophomore Campaign. No matter how you phrase it, Knepper will eventually move to the CG spot or play more as a guard but you can't knock her for her efforts all of the floor. Don Bosco is always a respectable program to watch compete and so let's see what they can do once Playoff time come arounds. I'm sure whatever happens, Knepper will have a hand in it.
