It is the final look in Northwest Ohio during this special series, as we all wait for basketball to start back up. Today, we look at some of the kids in various grades, including a listing of some key freshman players who made a name for themselves this past season with a solid productive year. This coming week, we head east to visit several other players who look to make a name for themselves on the courts this summer and next season. Northwest Ohio Finale Jaelle Keller, 5-5 Fresh., Castalia Margaretta A lightning quick point guard with supreme handles. Good shooter with her feet set. Causes problems for the opposition with her on-ball pressure defense. Ryley Kantzer, 5-7 Fresh., New Washington Buckeye Central Long and lanky guard. High IQ who knows where to be at on the floor all the time. Great rebounder from the perimeter, and Ryley has a high upside as she continues to progress her game. [player_tooltip player_id="157706" first="Kylie" last="Leibacher"], 5-10 Fresh., Castalia Margaretta One of the better all-around players and athletes in the region in her class. Has the ability to score on a consistent basis, and is growing her game in all aspects. Bigtime hidden gem in the region. Gabrielle Stober, 5-8 Fresh., Rockford Parkway Young but very talented player with a good upside. As her game improves, watch for her to become one of the top players in the region. Addison Freeman, 5-10 Fresh., Elida Her skill level and basketball IQ is beyond her age. She is a multi-position player which makes her difficult to guard.
