Elizabeth Puot Elizabeth Puot 6'0" | SF Des Moines North | 2023 State IA come into her senior year ranked in the Top 10 in the class of 2023 in the state of Iowa as a lengthy, athletic, combo guard who can shoot the ball from good distance away. This season, as she keeps bringing in college interest, Puot will look to be the unquestionable senior leader of this Des Moines North team as they look to go 1-0 in each game and make it to the state tournament. This first game will be a good test of seeing how prepared this North team is for the start of the season while seeing if their returning players can keep the foundation they put in place during the 21′-22′ year. As the season comes to an end and Puot gets closer to finishing high school she will decide where should would like to play D1 ball, a decision I can’t wait to see the result of.

Elizabeth Puot Elizabeth Puot 6'0" | SF Des Moines North | 2023 State IA made a big jump to the #7 spot in this weeks update of the Top 100 rankings after being in-between 90-100 spot going into her junior year. Puot is a high energy player with a high ceiling. She is a good size at 6’0 with the ability to bring the ball up the floor, rebound and push it in transition, finish at the hoop, or knock down a three pointer. When I was able to see her play at the Prep Hoops Top 250 Camp this fall she was a stand out star. She is a consistent shooter that likes to spot up behind the arc a good amount but has the ability to drive on her defender and finish over the top if need be. It will be interesting to see where Puot ends up after receiving a good amount of interest for a few mid-major D1’s up until this point. This winter her stock will continue to rise as her senior season progresses forward and her team keeps inching toward state.

Elizabeth was the best off guard I saw all day, being able to the play the 1-4 on the floor at any moment, she was a problem offensively and defensively for her competition. You can tell that Puot is very comfortable around the three point line but still didn’t settle when it came down to it. She would attack and finish with ease when the defender would jump, while shooting if the defender stayed down. She keeps it simple and efficient. Everything a coach loves to see. As a junior Elizabeth scored 11.4 PPG on 43.7% shooting, 41.6% from three, also while stacking up 7.9 RPG, and 1.3 APG for the Des Moines North Polar Bears. Starting with

this north team is stacked. They should be a dominate team in and out of conference and trouble for every team they match up with this winter season. With a great post presence, solid but efficient perimeter, and smart PG, if the Polar Bears put it together they will end up as state champs.
