Sanijah Robinson – Greensville – Class of 2021
Sanijah is a scoring machine, averaging 23 points per game and scoring her 1,000th point for her career the first game of the season as a junior. Sanijah averaged 31 points in the Region 2A playoffs, earning 2A All-Region Second Team honors.
Amaya Lucus – Buffalo Gap – Class of 2021
Amaya is an athletic forward who plays aggressively on both ends of the floor. She is active on defense, being able to guard about any position with her size and length. Amaya can handle the ball in transition, attacking the basket and able to find her teammates with her passing ability. She scored 14 points in Region 2B quarterfinals loss to end her season, but not without earning Shenandoah All-District First Team and Co-Player of the Year, as well as 2B All-Region First Team honors.
Sierra Hubbard – Patrick County – Class of 2021
Sierra is a 5’10 center who is very strong in the post, displaying many post moves with a strong finish. She also has great passing ability by being able to see the floor and find her teammates with good passes. Sierra scored 25 points, including 14-17 from the free-throw line in a regional playoff game, earning 2C All-Region First Team honors.
Averie Price – Lebanon – Class of 2020
Averie is a two-way player who can score the ball and defend the opponent’s best player. She can handle the ball, drive to the basket, and finish strong. Averie has earned Southwest All-District First Team and Player of the Year, including 2D All-Region First Team honors.
Allie Patterson – King William – Class of 2022
Allie is a 6’2 forward/center who dominates in the post with her variety of moves and has a nice mid-range shot. She can also step out and shoot from behind the arc. Allie has earned Tidewater All-District First Team, including Player of the Year and 2A All-Region First Team honors.
McKinley Fitzgerald – Stuarts Draft – Class of 2021
McKinley is a 5’6 guard with the ability to shoot consistently from behind the arc. She scored 22 points, including 6 three-pointers coming back from a concussion in a Region 2B quarterfinals win. McKinley has earned Shenandoah All-District First Team and 2B All-Region First Team honors.
Tynasia Witcher – Gretna – Class of 2022
Tynasia is a 5’8 scoring machine who can really shoot the ball and put points on the board. She averaged 22 points on the season, scoring 45, 26, 24, and 37 points in her last four games. Tynasia ended her season with a game-high 37 points, including 7 three-pointers performance in a regional semifinals loss, but earned 2C All-Region First Team honors.
Janiya Medley – Amelia County – Class of 2020
Janiya is a forward who is very aggressive on the defensive end, pressuring the ball and playing the passing lanes to get a steal, which turn into easy transition points. She has earned 2A All-Region First Team honors.
