I'm hoping to get over this cold so I can attend games tomorrow and get back on the saddle after missing games from Wednesday to Saturday, which is one of the longest breaks I've had in the high school season over the last four years. Regardless, let's look at a few players worthy of mention before we start the tenth week of high basketball in Wisconsin.

[player_tooltip player_id='1275677' first='Catherine' last='Williams']

The St. Croix Falls guard is a talented multi-sport athlete who excels on the volleyball court for her high school as a setter. However, Williams has also been a do-it-all player on the basketball court over her first three seasons. Williams has played excellent basketball on both ends of the court, using her athleticism to make plays on the ball defensively and to get downhill to make plays at the rim. She may choose to play volleyball at the next level, but she has the skill set to play basketball at the next level if that's the route she takes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1226720' first='Grace' last='Warborg']

The Jefferson guard has been an excellent perimeter defender in her junior season. Her ability to create live-ball turnovers and help her team earn transition points helps her team compete and win games it may otherwise lose without her on the floor. However, Warborg has also found a groove as a scorer over the course of the season. She has developed into a confident perimeter shooter who can beat her defender off the dribble and score in the paint.

Liz Kezeske

The Rosholt guard is one of the highest volume perimeter shooters you'll find in Wisconsin, and she's been solid from beyond the arc this season. Kezeske has a quick release, which allows her to get her shot off whenever she feels she has enough space to shoot. The Hornet is also an excellent athlete who utilizes her athletic tools to make plays on the ball defensively, whether her team is defending in man or zone defense. She's an intriguing player.

[player_tooltip player_id='624964' first='Ashiya' last='Hopkins']

Hopkins is having a career season in her senior campaign at Wisconsin Dells. Her ability to score from all three levels and use her ability to create off the dribble has opened up the Chiefs' offense and helped them become one of the more intriguing teams in Division 3 this season. Her offensive prowess is something that has helped her reach another level, and it's been a fun season to follow her along as her program looks to make a deep playoff push.
