Playoff Standouts Shine In Final Game- Central D6

Bertke is the type of player that makes so many aspects of the game click! She plays taller than 5'8 in the paint! Her physicality in how she rebounds, keeps the ball high on put backs, her footwork on the block, and how she quickly outlets on transition are just a few of the many things Jill does on both ends of the court that add up big! When it's all said and done, Speelman is going to break a lot of records by the time she's a senior! This diaper dandy is a beast who can do it all! Personally, I can't wait to see what she continues to do later this spring/ summer in travel ball! The sky is the limit for the multi- position player, who averaged 18.6ppg, 13.2 reb., 3.6 blk, 3.0 ast. Keep your eyes on Morgan! Another reliable freshman for Berne Union this year, Swank played valuable minutes, offering solid handles and ability to shoot from 3 point range. Makes good decisions in half court offense and transition. Lusher has had a tremendous four years with Grandview Heights, breaking records in both scoring and rebounding! She averaged 24.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.8 steals this season. Her work ethic is truly on a whole different level! (Featured Photo) Senior Claire Callif led by example- she does the little things that added up: hustling back on defense, help side defense, knocking down big 3's at the perfect time, and not afraid to take the rock to the rim when she knows there's going to be contact! Muselin is one of the most electrifying guards out there! Opponents simply cannot have a "catch your breath" moment around Maycee. She's just as intense defensively as she is scoring! The junior averaged 27ppg., and has already become the all-time leading scorer at Elgin. DeSantis can put points on the scoreboard in no time! Confident shooter, loves to shoot from outside, stretches the defense with her deep 3's! You can tell she just loves being on a basketball court!
