About Ariah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I hustle and talk on defense. I like to drive to the basket but I can shoot too. I encourage my teammates and give the high fives. I help my teammates to grow.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I play with a positive mindset and a next play mindset. If I make a mistake I move on to the next play and then after the game ask questions to my coach on what I could improve on.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I received the Soaring Falcon Award at my middle school. It is an award they give to the person who was the most safe, organized, accountable, and respectful during the school year.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have great teamwork because I am always uplifting my teammates. I have leadership with telling my teammates the play we and running and my me hustling because then they will hustle too.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

About a year ago when I would make a mistake I would get into my own head and feel very discouraged and angry at my self. Now I don’t but it was hard to deal with.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am aiming to go to a D1 college. I am looking for a large college that is good academically in the major I choose. I would stay close to home or go far away for college. I’m looking for a university that has a great team with welcoming and kind teammates who will help me grow and get better.
