Expert Analysis
Evan Bell | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Leah was one of my favorite prospects in the gym at the PGH Indiana Sophomore ID Camp–talk about a fun trip! She was a sniper from three-point range off the dribble and the catch. Great court vision, facilitating instincts, physical strength in the paint, determination on the boards, plus the ability to create space with her shifty ball-handling combos. Leah checks the boxes, and she’ll be a prospect for college coaches to pay close attention to with Always 100 16U P32 Grind at the PGH MI College Tour III tomorrow.

Leah has length, athleticism, strength, versatility, and sharpshooting talent that will make her a highly targeted prospect. She had a great day for Team 5 at the Sophomore ID Camp. Leah was a sniper, drilling many three-pointers off the hop and the dribble throughout the day from different spots. She used a shifty inside-out dribble combo to create a passing lane and dished a perfect entry into the post for an assist. Leah was an active rebounder and dished out assists to open teammates.

Leah has really shown a lot of growth in her game since I first saw her at a Fall showcase event. She has really nice length, wiry strength, and she’s a good all-around athlete. She is a nice shooter with the ability to stretch the floor to 3-point range, but she can also be a problem for defenders in the mid-post. Leah can attack the basket and make an athletic move to finish, plus she pursues rebounds, and she can sit down and defend bigger guards, wings, and forwards.

Leah is another one of those hybrid inside-out forwards who seem to thrive in the Homestead system. She has nice length, wiry strength, and she is a fluid to smooth athlete with some bounce to her. She plays with a really nice motor, has some touch to near the 3-point line, and she isn’t bad attacking the basket from there. She might still grow, but as she continues to get stronger, she’ll be a problem as a skillful and physical face-up ‘4’.
