For the last couple of years, I have been a Kenna fan each time I’ve seen her, so I’m hoping she gets a much bigger opportunity next Winter with all of the graduates Homestead has in 2026. Kenna has length, she’s fairly quick, and she has a little speed. What I like most about her is she picks & chooses when to explode, but otherwise she plays at a steady pace. She is constantly scanning the floor looking for open teammates, and she rarely forces the action. But when she needs to, she can pick up the tempo and aggressively attack the defense. She’s also an effortful defender herself.

Kenna was a dynamic three-level scorer at the Sophomore ID Camp. She started the day strong during shooting drills, standing out as one of the most efficient perimeter shooters in the gym. Kenna continued to impress during her games with Team 6. She contributed as an active rebounder, dished out assists when driving lanes closed, and dropped in a floater off the dribble. Kenna buried triples from the slot, up top, and in the corner. One of her highlight plays happened when she used a crossover spin move, backed down her defender, and finished with a smooth reverse layup.

Somehow, I managed to miss Kenna all Spring and Summer, so it was good to see her Saturday. She is a long, wiry, smooth, and fluid point guard prospect. She does a nice job of taking care of the basketball, getting her team organized, and finding the open teammate. She can also get to the basket or knock down an open shot. I think once she gets a little stronger, she will be a more consistent multilevel scorer, making her that much more dangerous.
