Allen is a workhorse with the length and the ability to play all positions on the floor. She showed her guard skills with her ability to shoot consistently from behind the arc and also push the ball in transition. A player that can score with her back to the basket but has the ability to score and defend from anywhere on the floor. Plays with a ton of energy is always looking to be in scoring position.

Abrielle put together one of the more impactful performances of the weekend to help will her team to an impressive comeback victory. She used her good size and length to make plays all over the floor by attacking downhill with confidence and finishing through contact, including a strong and-one. Her offensive versatility was on display with a spin move in traffic, a strong baseline drive where she used her body to create space for a finish, and an offensive rebound putback that generated a key second-chance basket. Defensively, she protected the rim with a timely blocked shot and consistently used her length to disrupt plays. Abrielle’s ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor and elevate her play when her team needed it most made her one of the standout performers I watched in Chicago.

The lengthy forward penetrated the lane, drew contact, and earned trips to the free-throw line. Allen showed a nice touch from the mid-range area and appeared comfortable pulling up when defenders gave her space. The young guard also rebounded well and showed great court vision, finding her teammates on the perimeter. Her combination of size, length, and offensive versatility was impressive, and she will be a player to watch moving forward.

Abrielle loves to crash the boards, making the defense pay for not boxing out by scoring second-chance points. Standing tall and athletic, she uses her highly skilled basketball IQ to make the right plays and effectively makes the extra pass to her teammates. As a slasher, Allen utilizes her length to her advantage and finishes strong around the rim, even when facing contact. Allen is a disruptive defender who uses her active hands to pickpocket opponents, leading to steals and fast breaks on the other end.
