Delaysia Morris was one of the more impressive young defenders observed in the 14U division, using her athleticism, instincts, and activity level to impact the game on both ends of the floor. Her on-ball defense was really good and she competed on every possession. She is one of those players who finds herself around the basketball, prevents drives to the rim, and can steal the ball if it’s not handled properly. Offensively, she showed good speed, ran the floor effectively, and capitalized on opportunities on the break. Her athleticism, defensive presence, and overall feel for the game made her a standout among the younger prospects in attendance.
