Brynlee was one of the more noticeable perimeter shooters on the floor during the Freshman Showcase. She knocked down back-to-back threes and consistently showed the range to stretch the defense. She also connected from the corner, brought the ball up the floor herself, and contributed defensively with a blocked shot. Her combination of length and shooting ability gives her incredible versatility on the perimeter.

Brynlee Fassett Brynlee Fassett 6'0" | SG/SF Montverde Academy | 2030 FL might be one of the top young shooters in the building. She could be considered a sleeper from an exposure standpoint, but there is nothing under the radar about her ability to shoot the basketball. Fassett can flat-out shoot it from the perimeter and stood out with her shooting at the PGH event in Wellington. She brings good size to the shooting guard position, giving her an advantage over smaller guards.. Fassett may enter the showcase without as much name recognition as some players in the field, but her ability to knock down shots could have her walking away as one of the more talked-about players in the building.

Brynlee Fassett Brynlee Fassett 6'0" | SG/SF Montverde Academy | 2030 FL played extremely well at the FL-GA Showcase and definitely caught the attention of the college coaches in attendance. Her size, ability to shoot the three-ball, midrange game, and basketball IQ all stood out. I had seen the young guard previously at the Prep Girls Hoops event in Wellington competing against players in her own age group and dominating. Watching her perform against older competition at this showcase further solidified just how talented she is. Fassett’s calling card is her beautiful three-point shot, but she has a great feel for the game.

Brynlee Fassett Brynlee Fassett 6'0" | SG/SF Montverde Academy | 2030 FL was part of the best 14U trio in the building – arguably one of the best combinations at the entire event. I was sitting next to a colleague, admiring the three-point shooting of James and Duber, when he turned to me and said you’ve got to see Fassett shoot the three ball as well. Write on cue, Fassett pulls up deep from beyond the palms and hits nothing but the bottom of the nets. Because of her height, her release point is naturally high, which allows her to get the three-ball off easily over shorter defenders. Fassett connected on several more shots from the perimeter, solidifying her as one of the top long-range threats in the 14U division.
