It was not that long ago when we at Prep Girls Hoops updated our 2030 Watch List into full rankings of South Carolina's rising freshman class.

And while the names that were on said list were more than worthy of being ranked, there were a few more prospects that were not on the list that are also on the rise. Obviously, this list will grow and change over time throughout the next several years.

One can count on these names appearing in the next set of rankings for the Palmetto State's 2030 class. Here are 10 prospects that are guaranteed to be in said rankings.

Talent has consistently been plentiful at 5A Dutch Fork and Gibson appears to be another Silver Foxes name poised to ensure they stay in the win column more often than not. Gibson played in 24 games last season at Dutch Fork. At last year's Triumph Region Finals at Columbus State University, we recognized Gibson as part of our 13U Second Team as she played for [program_tooltip program_id='903656' first='Lady' last='TUSC'] that year. She was two from [program_tooltip program_id='903656' first='Lady' last='TUSC'] that earned spots on our 13U Second Team. Gibson was one of two from the class of 2030 that earned roster spots on last season's Dutch Fork assembling and appears to be just getting started establishing a statewide profile.

With 5A Blythewood having graduated its big three from its back-to-back state championship-winning teams, a new look is in store for next year's Bengals team. Stovall is set to be one of the key pieces of said new look. Stovall previously wore the [program_tooltip program_id='1238252' first='Twelve' last='Time'] uniform for her spring and summer months of AAU and is in her first season with Her Elite. She would see playing time in 18 contests last season for coach Emily McElveen's Blythewood team and those minutes are certain to increase. Her 2026 travel schedule has included a stop in Georgia at this year's Peach Games as part of the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit.

Jackson was part of a 5A Rock Hill team that concluded last season with a record of 18-9. She was one of two from the middle school ranks on last season's Bearcats team and one can count on her development improving under the tutelage of coach Kenny Orr. She has spent the last couple of months running with Charlotte Dream Elite for her grassroots schedule. In addition to hoops, Jackson has also played flag football at Dutchman Creek MS. She played up in class in the 15U division during last month's live period at the Live at LakePoint in Georgia. Jackson competed in 26 games last season at Rock Hill.

We vividly remember Murphy's stellar performance she put forth for Charlotte Dream Elite at the end of March at the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit's Southeast Kickoff. Murphy helped her team to a 4-0 record in the foothills of western North Carolina. The Catawba Ridge team she will suit up for in the 2026-27 season is set to move down from 5A to 4A. Murphy is a talented combo guard who can also give a team worthwhile minutes in the frontcourt as a forward. She also spent May's live period in Georgia at the Live at LakePoint event as the Charlotte Dream Elite 14U played up in class in the 15U division.

While last season was a down year for the varsity 5A White Knoll assembling, the junior varsity Timberwolves fared a bit better as evidenced by their 12-10 record. Gardner was the featured name for that junior varsity assembling as she would average 11.3 points, 2.3 assists and two steals per contest. Those are numbers that ought to make her more than worthy of a varsity callup especially considering the varsity team only won four games last season – two of which were at the expense of 4A Aiken. Gardner will look to return winning vibes to Red Bank as her career continues to blossom.

When reclassification was first announced, the plan was for South Florence to move up to 5A but a successful appeal enabled the Bruins to stay in the 4A ranks. Suber, who has competed at the high school varsity level since she was a seventh grader, would play in 18 games last season for a South Florence team that advanced to the 4A Lower State finals. She was the only eighth grader on last season's Bruins team and can play productive minutes at either of the backcourt spots or as a wing. Suber previously played her middle school ball at Southside MS and currently runs on the AAU circuit with [program_tooltip program_id='783909' first='Palmetto' last='76ers/A'ja Wilson Elite'] 14U.

Cifuni is a name on the rise for a St. Joseph's Catholic team that has qualified for back-to-back 3A Upper State championship games. She looks to continue those winning ways with the Knights as the team moves down in classification to 2A starting with the 2026-27 season. Cifuni is another that has played at the varsity level since she was a seventh grader and would see minutes in 27 contests last season for St. Joseph's Catholic. She was one of only two from the middle school ranks on last season's Knights roster. Cifuni is a multi-sport athlete who has also ran cross country in addition to her growing list of basketball achievements.

Following a pair of seasons where the Seahawks of Myrtle Beach played in the 5A ranks, Myrtle Beach is set to return to the 4A realm beginning next season. The 11-win showing for the 2025-26 Seahawks was the best showing for a Myrtle Beach team since the 2019-20 version that won 16 games that year. Brave was one of several from the middle school ranks on last season's Seahawks team. Collecting steals, making plays in the transition game and connecting on 3-point attempts are among the many positive attributes to Brave's game and that list is sure to increase as her development continues.

Last season's 5A Lucy Beckham team featured only two eighth graders. Johnson was one of those two from the 2030 class that earned Bengals roster spots in 2025-26. Lucy Beckham played its first four years as a 4A team, then moved up to 5A (Division 2) the past couple of seasons and will return to 4A starting with 2026-27. Johnson would compete in 22 contests last season for the Bengals and averaged 6.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. Back in March, it was revealed Johnson would join [program_tooltip program_id='988463' first='Mosch' last='Ball'] and play up in class on its 16U team.

She helped the Generals to a 15-14 record and a first-round playoff victory over Oakbrook Prep. Anderson's 2025-26 season would also see her claim Second Team All-Region honors. She has ran with [program_tooltip program_id='1819754' first='Team' last='Charleston'] during her spring and summer months of AAU ball playing up in class on the 16U team.
