The frontcourt has been a key reason why Camden has been one of the teams to beat throughout Palmetto State high school girls basketball over the last several years. That will continue to be the case as coach Lewis Mungo’s Bulldogs landed this talented transfer from North Central MS. Cooper recently secured an offer from Anderson and finished a 2026 travel season where she wore the Palmetto 76ers uniform. She adds the Anderson offer to one she received at the beginning of the month from Presbyterian. Cooper will be one of several standout freshmen for a Camden team that will present a nice mix of youth and experience and will be among the teams to beat in the 3A ranks.

Speaking of Palmetto 76ers/A’ja Wilson Elite prospects, that description also applies to Cooper. She recently secured an in-state Division I offer courtesy of Presbyterian. Cooper previously played at North Central and will embrace a higher statewide profile playing at coach Lewis Mungo’s Camden. Frontcourt depth has been one of the keys to the Bulldogs’ success over the years and Cooper is poised to continue that theme at Culp Court. Cooper is a worthwhile addition to a Camden team that played the last couple of seasons in the 4A ranks and qualified for the Upper State semifinals last season. The Bulldogs are set to rejoin the 3A classification when play resumes in November.

This one is a classic example of the rich continuing to stay rich and get richer. Cooper established herself as a solid middle school interior prospect at North Central and is now bringing her talents to a Camden team moving back down to 3A after a pair of seasons in the 4A classification. Cooper will add frontcourt depth to coach Lewis Mungo’s Bulldogs – a key element to the program’s success over the years. We at Prep Girls Hoops have got a glimpse of Cooper at the A1 Hoops Shootout at SCISA 3A Northside Christian as well as at the Chapin Shootout – as well as at the Big Shots Memorial Classic where she ran with Palmetto 76ers/A’ja Wilson Elite .

Cooper established herself as a name during the high school season at now 1A North Central. She also did so during the AAU season with Palmetto 76ers/A’ja Wilson Elite . Cooper will have a much higher statewide profile now that she is sporting the uniform of 3A Camden. She joins a Bulldogs team that concluded its 2025-26 season with a 23-4 record as well as a berth in the 4A Upper State semifinals. As Camden and coach Lewis Mungo move back to 3A, Cooper looks to add plenty of frontcourt depth in 2026-27 season to a team that should once again be one of the toughest statewide outs.
