Blowing Up: Who's Stock Rose the Most at DMV Live

Who were the biggest winners? Not talking about the scoreboard but who actually saw their value shoot up after the DMV Live tournament? Player's should see these collegiate live events as a business trip and the opportunity to build and sell their brand to college coaches. Some players really took advantage of the opportunity and their stock has soared after the closing bell last weekend. Talked to a few coaches who had no ideal who Charlee was prior to DC Live, they were very much aware afterwards. She averaged a double-double during her five games with her top game being a 16 point, 11 rebound performance in a lose to the Potomac School. She repeatedly finished inside whether it was on the cut or offensive board. Contact didn't affect her as she made play after play inside. she shot less that 50% from the free throw line and once she tightens that up she will be looking at a lot of 20 point nights.     Charli has been nursing an ankle injury but it looked like her wheels were felling good on Sunday scoring 17 points while adding 8 rebounds. She made some dramatic finishes and played excellent on ball defense. Coaches were glued to their seats watch her drop the three ball with several taking notes to make sure to call her. Her confidence appeared to grow with every possession, and she consistently made winning plays on both ends of the floor. If this performance is any indication, she's returning to top form at exactly the right time.     Kai looked pretty good taking over as the lead option at Riverdale Baptist. She played and defended multiple positions. She had a nice step over three pointer, she drove well and used the floater nicely and looked good turning and facing from the high post for the jumper. She had a big 19 point performance against the Miller School. She went down in her last game with a leg injury and didn't return. We will keep track on her return.     Alice shot the ball at a high percentage running around in "the system". She knew how and when to break off the play and attack or shoot. She had a knack for getting open but showed that she didn't need a lot of space to get off a shot. She had the attention of every coach on the sideline and nearly pulled off the come from behind miracle against the St. James Academy. Beyond her scoring, she displayed a high basketball IQ and remained poised in pressure situations. Players who can stretch the floor while making smart decisions are always in demand, and Alice reminded everyone why she's such an intriguing prospect.     Kamori rebounded and finished inside like a solid post player. Then she gets out in the open court and moves like a gazelle. Her handle is exceptional, especially for a player of her size. She shoots with a nice touch and is a physical player that seems to get stronger as the games went on. Her versatility allows her to impact the game from multiple positions, creating matchup problems on both ends of the floor. With her combination of size, skill, mobility, and toughness, she has all the tools to be a high-level prospect with tremendous upside.     Aminata made the trip north and is now stationed in Virginia. She looked really good with her combination of length and athleticism combined with a high motor she was tough to contain. She finished from the top of the key with one dribble and had a soft touch with the mid-range shot and long two. At 6'4" she looked to be pretty much college ready. She ran the floor well, altered shots with her length, and consistently impacted the game without needing the offense to be run through her. Her upside is significant, and she has the physical tools to contribute early at the next level.
