Next Wave: More DMV Freshmen Showcase Stars

From skilled guards making plays with the ball in their hands to versatile wings and post players impacting the game on both ends, the next wave of DMV talent showed there is plenty to look forward to. Her shooting carried over into the full-court games, where she continued to knock down shots with accuracy. During the 5-on-5 games, she showed how effective she can be in transition, running the floor well and using her strength around the basket. What stood out most was the consistency of her shot throughout the day. She was especially nimble in traffic, navigating tight spaces with control and using a behind-the-back dribble that she could execute at will. Her shot looked good as well, featuring a quick release that she was comfortable getting to off the dribble. Offensively, she attacked the basket well, using a variety of fakes and moves to create scoring opportunities inside. She showed the range to knock down the three, but was especially effective using the threat of her shot to attack off the pump fake.
