Sophia Zoerb | Charlotte Dream Elite | G
Zoerb has good length on her that she uses to keep her hands in her opponents’ business when playing defense. She crashes the boards looking for rebounds, especially on offense when she is hunting for some second chance points. She handles the ball well, and she makes sure to relocate to find the open spot. She did a nice job using pump fakes to get her opponents off of their feet and get a pass around them to a teammate.
Lea Boyens | Charlotte Dream Elite | F
Boyens can shoot from behind the arc, and her quick release was making opponents frustrated. She is certainly a scorer in transition running the floor quickly with the ball scoring some fast break points. She jumped into passing lanes and made impressive passes up the court for her teammates to score some points.
Aliya Williams | Chalotte Dream Elite | G
Williams anticipates passes well flying out of nowhere to grab the steal. She was constantly moving on offense, and her movements caused problems on defense smacking the ball away. She moved into the right positions to score even posting up around the block.
Kayl Starnes | Triple Threat Academy | PG
Starnes (pictured above) seems to make her way to the basket battling through contact and showing no fear. She can score in transition, and she is persistent when battling for rebounds. She can certainly score outside the paint as well showing off her range with her shot. She grabs steals and pushes them up the court, and she makes herself available for a pass in transition.
Jordan Vaugn | Triple Threat Academy | G
Vaugn makes some shots all over the court, and she attacked the basket battling through contact showing her ability to score from anywhere. She helped her team late in the game seal the victory with some nice shots as if pressure did not phase her. She stripped the ball away from her opponents making sure they were unable to get a play going.
Sidney Blackwell | Triple Threat Academy | G
Blackwell did a nice job showing off her jump shots from all over the court. She moved into the open areas with ease making sure her teammates could find her. She knew how to create separation from her opponents with and without the ball showing that she was a threat on the offensive side of the court no matter where she was.
