I loved watching Chaniya get to the basket and finish high at the rim. She used the spin move well when cut off and had a nice handle for a player around 6’2″ with her length. She shot the three and made a couple but I thought she was more effective and more valuable getting to the basket.

Chaniya is a ferocious competitor and one of the top shot blockers in the area. She had a great summer and looked good shooting the ball from the perimeter. Let’s see if she can carry that into the league and then into the regular season.

Chaniya is a warrior on the court and it shows up mostly on defense. She’s arguably the best rim protector in Baltimore because she is fearless and relentless. She talks to her teammates and to opponents as well. She has good timing when going for blocks and prefers to just tip the ball and grab it instead of swatting it out of play. She not afraid to mix it up with bigger players and is decent on the perimeter as well.
