Some insider information for everyone at home. Following North Polk’s QF matchup at the State Tournament on Tuesday, Dillinger went back home and got back to work in the gym. Quite literally. Dillinger was back on the court just a few hours later to hone in on her shooting ability and man did it pay off. In North Polk’s Semi-final matchup, she went off. 7-11 from the field, while going 7-10 from three point land to set a 4A State Tournament record. Not to mention, at one point she made 3 three pointers, in back to back to back possessions. This was a prime example of what Dillinger can really do. At the next level with her D2 Auggie team, I expect to hear about this one for years to come but first, they are looking to finish things with a 4A title on Saturday afternoon.

, it’s usually to some effect that if she were in an offense that gave her the “Kyle Korver treatment”, she would thrive. That means every time she sets a screen in her offense, she gets 5/6 in return on that possession alone. Dillinger is a high volume shooter, who can get hot in a hurry off of the catch all over the perimeter. This AAU season, she lit it up enough to bring in some collegiate offers, ultimately taking her talents to D2 – Augustana after this Winter. Like I said, Dillinger can let it go in a hurry and she can fill up the bucket. That’s the easiest way to put it. That along with her ability to stick in-front of intense dribblers makes her someone to watch this upcoming high school season.

committed to D2 Auggie after just a few days from visiting and receiving a scholarship offer. That’s when you know there was a connection between the two parties almost right away. Dillinger is a knockdown shooter right now, that will be used in the same way at the next level. Within an impressive D2 program like Augustana, it can be hard to see the floor but if Dillinger is used in the correct ways off of the ball, she could be their flame thrower from deep over the next few years. It’s been fun to see Dillinger grow over her high school career. She was someone that has always been a good shooter, she just needs to continue to work on her overall game, while knocking down shots at a high rate and the rest will be history before you know it.

Dillinger did what she is used to doing on Saturday morning, which is making it rain from deep. In her team’s first contest of the day Dillinger went 6-7 from behind the three point arc, making shots at an elite rate. At one point, the other team had to face guard her in the open court in attempts to slow her down. This is someone that can get hot in a hurry and that was on full display in this contest. She is a high level producer when she can shoot the ball off of the catch. Hopefully some coaches at the next level can start to see that sooner, rather than later.

has emerged as one of the best three point shooters that this state has to offer, regardless of Age and Class. She demonstrates footwork, coordination on the catch, knowledge of when to shoot compared to getting into the teeth of the defense, and a flame thrower for an arm. If she is used in the correct way, she is a star. This is the type of prospect that if I were her coach, for every screen she would set in my offense, she would be getting five screens in return. Otherwise known as the Kyle Korver treatment. She has had some interest from some collegiate programs this past season but I expect that interest to grow over the next year. If recruiters really saw what she could do, they would be all over her almost immediately.

When evaluating any type of player on the court, there are a number of factors that need to be taken into consideration. One of the most important factors being their position and how they are set up for success within their own offense. Someone can be a fantastic prospect but if they aren’t set up for success, they are going to look bad whether that’s the truth or not. A player that suffered from this situation toward the end of the season was

. Dillinger is a quick thinking SG, with great size and athleticsm. She is the type of prospect that you want to shoot the ball first when she is open, while thinking about it after the fact. When she has confidence, she is one of the best SG throughout the State in the 2025 Class and that’s obvious. For the most part, Dillinger put together a season to remember. Whenever she had an opportunity to make something happen, she did that without forcing any mistakes or making too many errors. As it pertains to individuals that can shoot the leather off of the ball and prospects that know their role, Dillinger checks off both of those boxes. I’m not sure where she is going to end up when it’s all said and done but she is a collegiate level prospect, plain and simple. If she is set up in a system where she can play her natural position and let it fly whenever open. she is going to find a lot of success. No matter who it’s with in the near future.

. Dillinger lives up to her positions name as a shooter. She is a player that is very good at letting it fly from deep off of a balance and coordinated stance. She possesses the ability to get to other levels on the floor offensively off of the dribble if need be but her best talent is definitely shooting the ball. The way that she lines up her body and has her hands ready at any moment, screams that she can knock down some shots and that’s what she has been doing this winter. She may have only moved up a spot or two in this Update but she is having a great year both individually and from a team aspect. She already has taken a handful of visits prior to the season to compete with someone after her high school career but nothing has been locked in as of yet. If she continues to ball out like she has been this season, I’m sure she is going to have a few more offers before she makes her final decision.

has had her recruitment heat up this past few months and it makes sense as to why. Dillinger has a flame thrower for an arm from deep and is fairly skilled with the ball in her hands. She can hit her opponent with a nice dribble move into a take, or she can just rise up above them and knock down a shot. In todays game, it’s turning into a time where every player needs to be able to knock down jump-shots. No matter if you are the 1 or the 5 for your perspective team. So that Dillinger is a shooting specialist fairs well for herself. She has decent size and athletic ability to match with that size, we will just have to wait and see where everything falls together in the end.

I wrote an article earlier this season on some Summertime Stock-Risers and if I’m not mistaking, Dillinger was a headline player featured in that article. Dillinger had a spring/summer to remember. I think this was a season where she figured out that with confidence, anything is possible. Dillinger can let it fly. Her catch and shooting ability is college level. On each shot attempt she displays balance, great footwork, consistent form, and a perfect follow through. During this AAU season, if anyone had a hand-down when she would catch, Dillinger would make them pay. She has the nickname of being a sniper and it suits her well. When it comes to the other side of the ball she shows promise. She sticks with her opponents consistently, rebounds well VS others, see’s tendencies early on in the game, and communicates throughout everything. This winter North Polk is going to have a TEAM. A group of players that can score in bunches, in every-and-anyway. We will just have to wait and see who can step up to stop them.

hasn’t received an offer as of yet for college ball but that is soon to change. Dillinger, the flame-thrower from deep, has had an AAU season to remember. Honestly, throughout the state of Iowa this spring/summer, Dillinger has a debate for being the biggest stock riser in general. She has been playing at a high level, and shooting the ball at an efficient/consistent rate. Any college now a days wants a shooter. Greta is an excellent one of those, while also being a fundamental and sound player overall. We will see over these next few months what occurs but in my opinion, she will be having some offers come her way.
