Fayth Sullivan is off the board to D2 – Wayne State out of Nebraska. Sullivan, a 5’9 CG, has been filling up the stat sheets at the Varsity level for several years now at North Polk. Last season she posted an impressive stat line while trying to help her team win every game that they could as an off-guard. She moved between the 2 and 3 spot primary, showing her versatile at any opportunity on both sides of the basketball. She was one of the team leaders that everyone else looked up to in big moments and she didn’t disappoint. We have had a D2 grade on Sullivan for a few years now so I’m glad that everything lined up so that she can call Wayne State her home for the foreseeable future.

Another nominee for my Player of the Game honors in the North Polk vs Xavier matchup was combo guard Fayth Sullivan Fayth Sullivan 5'9" | CG North Polk | 2027 State IA . Sullivan has a lightning-quick shot from beyond the arc and splashed a deep one as the buzzer expired in the first quarter. She was also the defensive force for Comets, leading the way with 4 steals. She finished the night with 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists and was efficient at the free throw line, going 9/11. Sullivan is flat-out getting it done this season, averaging 14.8 points and 8.4 boards from the guard spot.

Someone who put up similar numbers last Winter for the Comets as Schulz was Fayth Sullivan Fayth Sullivan 5'9" | CG North Polk | 2027 State IA at the CG position. North Polk will be glad to return Sullivan for another go-around for her Junior season this Winter. Sullivan is going to be looked at to play and produce off of the ball compared to as a main handler. With the sets that their group will run, that won’t always be the case but Sullivan is more of a pure scorer than anything else at this time so I expect her to always be attacking from the 2/3 position. It’s really going to be the Schulz & Sullivan show this Winter so I’m curious to see how they fair in and out of conference.

The interest from the collegiate levels is continuing to rise as we move into the Fall for Fayth Sullivan Fayth Sullivan 5'9" | CG North Polk | 2027 State IA of the Iowa Battlers . Sullivan put together a noteworthy weekend in the FLA to finish off her Sophomore AAU campaign. Sullivan has a better the average shooting stroke, she can handle and finish with body control in the paint, all while being pretty instinctual on both sides of the floor. I’m hoping that Sullivan has some college visits lined up for this Fall. She is a prospect who possesses a next level skill-set in this game, she just needs a chance and the rest could be history. All in all, fantastic showing from Sullivan and company these past few weeks on the road.

Another extremely promising 2027 prospect, that showed out at a high rate in this battle was Fayth Sullivan Fayth Sullivan 5'9" | CG North Polk | 2027 State IA of North Polk. Sullivan isn’t afraid to let it fly from anywhere on the court within reason. It doesn’t matter if it’s off of a set piece or from their natural motion offense. If there is space in front of her, then it could be going up. As a team the Comets shot the ball terribly from three point land, going 4-23 but Sullivan did what she could to save the day, going 50% on 3-6 shooting from behind the arc. This was a saving grace and a boost this team really needed to pull off this victory. They won by a very narrow margin so every bucket mattered when it really boils down to it.

Coming off of a solid AAU season with the Iowa Battlers , Fayth Sullivan Fayth Sullivan 5'9" | CG North Polk | 2027 State IA of North Polk High School is going to be tasked with stepping up big time this Fall. Sullivan isn’t going to need to step up to fill in for any lost production but she is just right on that fence of becoming a highly-sought after prospect. She played up a grade level this AAU season and helped her own. She was a producer last Winter as a Freshman on her Varsity team and she is seemingly getting better with time, so I have high expectations for someone like this. I’ll need to see that she can take over when push comes to shove and I think that is something that is definitely possible.

Fayth Sullivan Fayth Sullivan 5'9" | CG North Polk | 2027 State IA is a prospect out of the 2027 Class but she plays with some skill and experience that helps her outshine most other prospects in that Class. Sullivan is years above her age in skill and knowledge of the game. Physically, she demonstrates that she is quick, she can shoot with fantastic shot form from all over the floor, and she can defend with the best of them at her position. Mentally, she is thorough at thinking out situations and seeing things unfold before they happen. Up until this point in the Spring Season, Sullivan and her 16U Battlers team have put together a solid year so far. If they stay locked in and stay persistent, they should end their season off with a bang come July.
