<p class="p1">These guards in the class of 2024 have had a spectacular year showing off their talents.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>They certainly deserve more of a spotlight as they continue their high school careers this year.</p>
<p class="p1"><strong><img class="size-medium wp-image-313320 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/08/Audra-Petty-shooting-scaled-crop-1921x1261-1627940058-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" />Audra Petty | Randleman</strong></p>
<p class="p1">Petty has had a hot streak this summer shooting the ball.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She had a game hitting eight three pointers, and that game certainly wasn’t an outlier.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She does an excellent job moving without the ball making smart cuts and timing them well to set herself up for a nice shot from all over the court.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She’s a menace on defense, too, grabbing steals and handling the ball quickly up the court to score in transition.</p>
<p class="p1"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="275952" first="Lili" last="Booker"] | Cannon</strong></p>
<p class="p1">Booker (pictured above) will get you contributions in essentially every statistical category.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She can get to the basket scoring the ball, or she can set herself up to shoot from deep.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She is quick with the ball consistently grabbing steals and pushing it up the court to score in transition.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Her vision of the court is ideal as she finds her open teammates and does a great job moving herself where she needs to go to get them the ball.</p>
<p class="p1"><strong><img class="size-medium wp-image-275440 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/04/Dorothy-Mills-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1618879004-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" />[player_tooltip player_id="299437" first="Dot" last="Mills"] | Pisgah</strong></p>
<p class="p1">You can already tell Mills plays with high energy and an eagerness to continue to learn each time she steps on the court.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>As one of the main ball handlers for her team this summer, she knows when to speed up the tempo or let her teammates set up a play.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She weaves in and out of her opponents with ease, and she’s a tenacious defender grabbing steals to push the other direction.</p>
<p class="p1"><strong><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/08/Kayla-Lee-scaled-crop-1921x1261-1629749317.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-319612 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/08/Kayla-Lee-scaled-crop-1921x1261-1629749317-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a>[player_tooltip player_id="299440" first="Kayla" last="Lee"] | Marvin Ridge</strong></p>
<p class="p1">Lee is a dominant ball handler, and she can certainly shoot well from behind the arc.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Her ability to score has greatly improved over the past year driving hard to the basket against contact, and she does well setting herself up for a jump shot.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She’s aggressive on defense picking the pocket of her opponents, and she finds ways to make plays at high speed in transition.</p>
