Destiny Mason (C.B. Aycock 2023 forward)
2023 forward Destiny Mason was able to get to her spots and knock down shots for this Golden Falcons team. She finished with 19 points to lead all scorers and she did so in a number of ways whether it was attacking the basket or creating second chance points. Mason hit a number of big shots in the fourth quarter to help build a lead that the Cougars couldn’t come back from.
Laci Best (C.B. Aycock 2023 forward)
2023 forward Laci Best is a great compliment to Mason in the backcourt and she added 11 points for the Golden Falcons. Precious Williams (Goldsboro 2022 forward)
Unsigned senior forward Precious Williams is the anchor for the Cougars on both ends of the floor whether it be blocking shots and rebounding or finishing in the paint. She created a lot of second chances looks for Goldsboro helping her team stay close for most of this contest. Williams finished with 10 points to lead the way along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Nashiyah Williams (Goldsboro 2024 guard)
Nashiyah Williams is another Goldsboro prospect that’ll be a key piece of the team as the Cougars head into a crucial stretch of games before the Christmas break. She gets in the passing lanes and anticipates well on defense while also pushing the tempo in transition. Williams got a number of buckets on fast breaks which is one of the strengths of this team.
