Standout Players To Keep Eye Out On

With this season going in full stride and at least 10 games in, things have been looking up for some players who have been standing out a lot. These may be some new faces to watch out for or some names that you already could be familiar with but we will take a dive in and see what players are listed. <strong>Woodridge 5’0 Jr. PG Leah Mencer</strong> She is a small guard who doesn’t mind putting her body on the line. She is a quick guard who can defend, if you are not paying attention she will pick your pocket. Nice form from the 3 point line, she will knock it down if your a step late She can drive and hit the floater, hit the mid-range jump shot. Great court vision in the open floor she can be a good point guard. <strong>STVM 6’0  Sr. SF [player_tooltip player_id="266970" first="Annie" last="Watson"]</strong> Annie does what she does best, plays the passing lane and gets fast breaks, and gets her block shots that turn all the defense into offense, she gets in the rim and draws the body contact. She plays tight defense without drawing the foul hands straight up she defiantly has the basics and the skill set to be a complete player this year for the Irish. <strong>Mogadore 5’3 So. PG Brooklyn McIntyre</strong> Brooklyn is another small guard who can get the job done, she creates a lot of action off the screen where she can pull up and take the shot or drive to the basket or a good pass. She will not hesitate to go in with the big’s to create fouls. She is a player who can get up and down the floor in a heartbeat, pay attention to this guard she is a scoring machine. <strong>Rootstown 5’11 Fr. SF [player_tooltip player_id="319326" first="Nadia" last="Lough"]</strong> Nadia as a freshman she is getting the job done on a nightly basis. She has been knocking down her free throws consistently which last she went 13-16 from the line. She can score and grab rebounds, as a freshman, she is putting up big stats to be young with 3 more years to come she will be a top forward avg nearly a double-double she is a player to watch for with years to come. <strong>Lake 5’8 So SG Serenitee Johnson</strong> Serenitee is a long guard who can steal the ball without making a foul, she is shifty and can get to the basket without a problem, she plays well on the help side defense and can score in the open or in traffic, she hasn’t forced the issue she plays with patience on the offensive end, leave her open she will knock down the three-ball also. Plays the passing lane and she gets the ball to the open person She is a good player to keep an eye out on she will surprise you on what she can do. <strong>Medina 5'7 Sr CG [player_tooltip player_id="360876" first="Hailey" last="Tripp"]</strong> Hailey is a dynamic combo guard, she moves well without the ball running off screens, and she is a knock-down shooter. She can create her own shot off the dribble with that quick release she has. She is quick enough to hit the passing lane and fill up the stat sheet with steals, finishes well in the open floor with either hand. When you see her play you know who she is and what you are going to get. For her size, she will grab you a lot of rebounds and she is an exciting player to watch and to see what she accomplished this season for her team.
