The sharpshooter helped Mustang rebound from a shock opening game loss to go 2-1 on the weekend. Was in double figures of both the wins. She has one of the cleanest jumpers in the state. And will be relied upon to continue to add scoring around her three point shooting to power Mustang as they attempt to replicate last year’s run to the 6A Title game

The whole Mustang program is filled with outstanding defenders. And the ringleader for the 6A contenders is Alston. She’s as tall as many forward prospects in Oklahoma, making her a post presence around the rim. While also nimble enough to cover, trap and harass along the perimeter. Fits perfectly into the modern requirements of defense at the next level.

Okay, Alston is more of a guard than a true forward. Because even though she’s tall like a forward, she’s extremely skilled and a true guard. Making her a potential steal for Elon in North Carolina. They join Quinnipiac (CT) and Northern Colorado in the nationwide programs that are pursuing one of the finest players in Oklahoma.

Alston is among the top three point shooters in Oklahoma. She’s not too bad off the dribble either, with a nice pull up game.
Alston is among the top defenders in Oklahoma. Moves very well for her height, has a huge wingspan and is tenacious. Can pressure on the ball, or rack up deflections, steals and blocks.
Hmm, seems like Alston might be the most versatile 2026 prospect in Oklahoma. And she seemingly only is getting better and better.

Is it really hard for the #6 ranked player in the state to have a break out year? After watching her play this past weekend I would say yes on a national level. Great height for a very skilled guard that could play the 1-4 on offense if needed. The footwork is on point at the guard spot and even in the low post area. A crafty driver that has great body control avoiding the charges. Mya and the Lady broncos could make that run for the Gold Ball this season.

Alston is one of the very best players in Oklahoma’s senior class and recently reopened her recruitment following the coaching change at ORU. After a weekend in Omaha, she picked up an offer from Northern Colorado. It’s not shocking, because she shots the ball at a high clip and has next level height/athleticism to cover multiple spots defensively. Expect more offers to come for the Mustang guard.

Shook off a slow start on Friday night, to lead Unity to three straight victories. Including a 23 point game on Saturday. Smooth shooter, with great positional size to be a 2/3 at the next level. Long arms often allow her to deflect passes, leading to smooth transition scores. In the halfcourt, she’s strong from three and can get to her spots in the mid-range as well. Alston had one of the best high school seasons of any prospect in Oklahoma, and is now on path for a similar successful spring and summer.

One of the top juniors of the state, Alston recently reopened her recruitment. She was committed to in state Oral Roberts but a coaching change has her exploring her options. The silky smooth shooter is fresh off an impressive junior campaign, leading Mustang to a runner up finish in 6A. She’s one of the best shooters in Oklahoma, with a complete game around her top tier shooting ability. Alston is finishing up her AAU career with a Unity program that has a strong recent record of producing D1 prospects. Four games in Edmond will be a good tune up before next weekend’s live period event.

Dominanted the playoff tune up contest against El Reno. Silky smooth three point and mid-range shooter in the halfcourt. Athletic and disruptive on the defensive end. ORU looks like they got a steal by elevating and locking up her commitment early in the process. Has elevated her game as a junior to be one of the state’s best players regardless of class. And a very important piece for a Lady Bronco team squarely in the Gold Ball hunt of a deep Class 6A.
