After promising signs early in the season, Williams found a new level when leading a Class 6A semifinals push for the Lady Broncos. It starts on the defensive end with her. As she’s a bonafide rim protector. Has good timing when swatting shots. And can establish position around the rim and use verticality to contest without fouling. Is turning into a full fledge monster on the offensive end too. Has soft touch out to the mid-range. Mobile and tough when rolling to the rim. Sky high future for a youngster who’s only starting to scratch the surface of her potential.

The freshman is an anchor in the middle for the Broncos. Impresses with her timing and feel as a shot blocker. Is similar with the way she rebounds. Even led Mustang with 17 points, with a perfect 6 of 6 free throw shooting. Scores on rolls to the rim, putbacks and good touch. Has moments as a passer in the halfcourt, but needs to continue to improve her vision and processing. As she did miss some open teammates. Still the strides she’s making this season are great indicators of her bright future.

Second straight fantastic game from the freshman. She plays to her size and maybe even a little taller on both ends of the court. Went for 9 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks. Good mix of timing and verticality to block and contest shots without fouling. Sky appears to be the limit and looking forward to continuing to monitor her progress.

The freshman is turning into an anchor in the middle for the 6A Broncos. Tough defender, who gets her hands up to alter shots. Even recording a stock on one drive on Tuesday. That was a moment where her youth showed, as she did try to push it herself and while comfortable for a few dribbles, she ended up turning it over. There were a few more moments like that, where she’s still adjusting to the varsity aspect of always competing. But the moments she does produce indicate with more experience that she should soon fully be locked in.
Also promising on offense, scored 12 points on 5 of 5 shooting. Including a mid-range jumper and looking very mobile rolling to the hoop out of a pick and roll.

Another Lady Bronco makes this list just by showing that Coach Bass has some in the stable ready to go. The 6’1 forward showed the ability to play inside with smooth footwork around the rim. An athletic forward that can play the 4 position right now but shows promise of being versatile 3-4-5 in the future.
The addition of SiSi as mentioned gives the Lady Broncos some much needed depth at the height position. .

A power forward that is on this list because of her shot blocking ability in the paint. No easy shots were going to happen on CC watch. Great IQ of understanding help rotation on drives to away any open layups. At times she changed a shot by just being a tall wall. The one thing that is different about this power forward is she a force at the point of the full court press. Quick feet made it difficult to get ball in and if did the trap was coming. Her paint presence and point of trap added her to this list

A incoming freshman next season that brings a very high ceiling with her. A long 6’1 forward that I have seen over the past two summer and her game just keeps developing. Great hands in the post that grabs passes some post just can’t catch. Strong post moves in the paint hitting her defender with several moves. Runs the floor like a deer filling the lanes on break. Showed mid-range shooting to go along with the 3. Shot block ability around the rim on defense. What caught my eye was the length and later movement on the front of 1-2-2 press.

A long athletic 2029 forward that can play 3-5 spot. In 3 on 3 she played more back to the basket showing nice up and under moves to get her defender up in the air. During 5 on 5 play she showed more of the 3 position at time handling the ball. Nice mid range jumper that at times extended beyond the arch. Really liked the way she ran the floor getting out ahead presenting a long target to pass ahead for an easy score. A 2029 that should be considered among the top prospects in that class.
