Speaking of six-foot prospects, the Bruins of 3A Orangeburg-Wilkinson have one of their own in Rumph – and she is on the radar of the program at Denmark Tech. Rumph is a product of the Orangeburg Xpress AAU program and is sure to be a focal point of a 2025-26 Bruins team that will feature a robust veteran presence. The amount of playing time she has received has increased with experience and she does what coaches look for out of fours and fives – high-percentage field goals, interior defense and rebounding capabilities. Rumph’s Bruins concluded the 2024-25 season with a record of 15-7.

Rumph will be a focal point for the Bruinettes this season down in the paint. She moves well from side to side on the block. Divona is still learning the game and must continuing work hard down in the paint. She must develop a post move. In time she has the tools to be very successful down the road.

Coach Cedrick Simpson’s Bruins have been one of the teams to beat in the 3A ranks the past few seasons. With his team having graduated its veteran core from last season, Rumph looks to be one of the faces of the youth movement at Orangeburg-Wilkinson. At 6-foot-1, she can play as either a four or a five to give the Bruins an interior presence. That height advantage is sure to come in handy in terms of scoring, rebounding as well as interior defense. Rumph is poised to be one of the standout 2026’s to watch this season across the Palmetto State.

With coach Cedrick Simpson at Orangeburg-Wilkinson having lost three of his star seniors from last season’s team, it gives a golden opportunity for up-and-comers such as Rumph to find plenty of playing time. She plays primarily at the four or five and is listed at 6-foot-1, giving the Bruins a much-needed presence in the interior. She is sure to have an advantage with her height alone as a scorer, rebounder and interior defender. Bruins fans will certainly be awaiting what comes from Rumph in the coming seasons as Orangeburg-Wilkinson enters the next phase of its Class 3A program.
