Pullman really made quite a first impression a year ago playing for the Lady Wildcats at the TKC Classic in Summerville. She really played aggressive on the boards and around the pain area. Tyana runs the floor very well and understands on how to post up and work for position down low. Pullman shows to have a nice touch on the foul line.
Anderson made a move this off season to Lexington HS after playing at crosstown rival White Knoll HS. Sydni will really hit the glass and keep the ball up high after claiming it off the boards. She works toward the ball while carving out space down low on the block. Anderson plays with her back to the basket.
Sydni can be a bit of a rim-protector a times with her ability to defend the bucket.
Autumn is very nimble with her footwork around the paint area. She will work side to side and really understands on how to seal off her defender down low. Autumn has good hands to collect anything thrown in her direction. She rebounds on both ends of the court equally well and especially outside of her area.
Howard is more of a half-court back to the basket post player. Claire plays with her sister Chloe Howard here on the Lady Yellow Jackets roster. Claire already has good size for her age tends to have good hands down low.
Highlights
White really played well at the recent SCBCA Elite Camp in North Charleston. Morgan who is currently 6’4 has great size around the paint area. She plays and stays inside the paint area. Morgan really did a nice job of keeping the ball off the floor after rebounding it and just working down low. She understands angles on how to get open and move around the paint area. Prep Girls Hoops is looking for her to maybe have a breakout season for the Lady Cavaliers.
Braddick plays off the grid just south of Charleston at St John’s High School. Dyarri is still a RAW Talent and really is starting to pick up the game. She has legit size down low as a rim protector. She has the ability to alter and challenge shots all day long and take over a game on the defensive end of the court.
Braddick a left-handed post must keep the ball up high better. She tends to lower to the floor. Dyarri still has her best basketball in front of her down the road when she starts to figure things out.
Holmes has great bloodlines as her father Michael Holmes had a great career for the Stallions before moving on to the University of South Carolina and Coastal Carolina University. Mykeriyah will work inside to receive the ball and simply chase the ball off the glass on put backs. She understands the more she stays in the paint area and close to the bucket – the more effective she is in the scorebook. Holmes plays Grassroots Circuit with a local team and plays at small high school off I-20 in Bishopville.
House plays in the Pee Dee area of the Palmetto State at a small Class 1A school. She works for position down in the paint and really understands how to rebound the ball. Naomi runs the floor well and delivers on putbacks off the glass. She shows to have good hands when the ball is thrown her way in the paint.
Rumph will be a focal point for the Bruinettes this season down in the paint. She moves well from side to side on the block. Divona is still learning the game and must continuing work hard down in the paint. She must develop a post move. In time she has the tools to be very successful down the road.
Murrell plays in the same region with Naomi House at McBee HS. Aiyana is very new to the game, and she will only continue to progress forward. Murrell is athletic enough to cover a lot of ground up and down the floor. She at times needs to demand more touches down low in the paint. Aiyana must work finishing through contact. She has the tools to be a good one down the road.
