She actually played against Eaton and lost their first tournament game. Not a huge scorer but she’s a great floor general and a distributor of the ball. Great quickness, pushes north-south fast and can lead the break. Distributes the ball quickly and accurately. Defensively she is a factor and aggressive.

Liked her improvement from last year as a freshman, Drake is a super quick guard who has the ability to penetrate well and slither to the rim. She may be small in stature, but her game is big. Can finish at the rim.
Plays with energy and is able to really push transition well with good handles. She does a good job reading the floor and can distribute.

I thought Bay’Shanna showed good qualities of a solid point guard and once she gets some more experience under her belt, her stock will rise. She has nice court vision and does distribute the ball well for a freshman. Also nice handles and able to control the tempo of the game.

She is a point guard that could take the Dayton City League by storm if she comes out with the confidence to run the show as a freshman from the point guard spot at Meadowdale. She can really do a lot on the court, sees the floor well and get involved in the game well. She has a deep shot and is a hard-nosed defender. One to keep an eye on as the season progresses.
