The WATCHLIST has been adjusted to place numbers by the names and I'm sure it will change multiple times as I see more players or catch some that I haven't seen enough of yet to those who want to know my rhyme or reasoning on doing this, one more time, I have to see the player MYSELF.

No, I don't copy Blue Star, ASGR, Prospect Nation, or anyone else because I've dealt with agendas from those services when my own daughter was coming up, my thing was this, if they didn't recognize what she did, basically go completely off against "their picks" then that meant they were clueless on what they were looking at or they took it out on her because I was OUTSPOKEN and called them out which tells you about their character

Here are some new names I added before changing it over to RANKINGS from WATCHLIST

[player_tooltip player_id='692428' first='Cora' last='Bennett']-6'1 C (Converse Judson) SA Lady Hoops

Bennet makes her debut at #25 yet with her being "long and athletic" and standing over "the magic number" she has a chance to keep climbing. I was impressed with her improvement since I last saw her a couple of seasons ago, her timing to block shots has improved, and so has her rebounding on both ends. What also impressed me was her finishing around the basket, after the contact

[player_tooltip player_id='692429' first='Ar'Jayla' last='Elder']-5'8 SG (Dallas Lincoln) [program_tooltip program_id='713454' first='Lady' last='Jets']

Elder jumps in at #27 and the only thing I was wrong about when I wrote about her a few months ago was that I would have the RANKINGS done in JUNE. Her poise under pressure needs to be mentioned, yet her mindset and "you won't outwork me" attitude show every time she steps on the court, on both ends

[player_tooltip player_id='692430' first='Kimora' last='Carroll']-5'6 CG (Hitchcock) DFW Elite

Carroll at #28 reminded me at the TABC Girls Showcase I first wrote about her in the 3rd grade and after going back and checking, I dropped the #D1Lock back then, Her explosiveness off the dribble to attack the basket to score or dish stands out, so does her jumper which she creates and knocks down under pressure

[player_tooltip player_id='692431' first='Kyndall' last='Roberts']-5'7 CG (Nimitz) [program_tooltip program_id='715312' first='Houston' last='Lady Nets']

Roberts jumped in at #29; part of that was showing her "catch and shoot" with her new team earlier in the season. I was overly impressed as she knocked down shots under pressure down the stretch and she showed me her progression had taken her game to another level. She has good court vision and plays solid "on-the-ball" defense

[player_tooltip player_id='692432' first='Jayda' last='Kearney']-6'5 C ( College Park) REAL Lady Ballers

Kearney showed me enough to be added to the Top 100 back in May after my initial sighting, yet she has gotten better at finishing not only on the block but around the basket and that places her at #31. Her upside will have her JEFFERSONIZED, "movin on up" as she continues to progress on the court yet she is showing potential to games over on either end

[player_tooltip player_id='692433' first='Slyiah' last='Johnson']-5'11 SG (Hitchcock) DFW Elite

Johnson is a big guard that can shoot the ball. College coaches love that and her range is part of the reason I have her at #32 but watching her demeanor on the court tells me a lot about what's coming. She's powerful and finishes with players literally hanging on her as she attacks the basket. She also rebounds on both ends and defends

[player_tooltip player_id='664394' first='Caeleigh' last='Rogers']-5'9 SG/SF (Cedar Park) Phoenix

Rogers' versatility over the past couple of seasons is part of why I added her at #42 yet again, progression on the court is what I look for, and watching her not create her shot while being defended but knock it down with a hand in her face has gotten better, but so has her attacking the basket and finishing using a deceptive first step. She understands positioning and rebounds over taller players

[player_tooltip player_id='692434' first='Jamie' last='Solomon']-5'6 PG (Wheatley) [program_tooltip program_id='715346' first='Houston' last='United'] Hoops

Solomon's energy never lets up and watching her improved shooting from long-range is part of the reason she's #43. She handles the ball and sees the floor, under pressure. Her first step is explosive, yet so are her finishes because, at times, she does it acrobatically after contact and that places her in the "and one" waiting to happen group.

Click here to view the updated 2026 Texas Rankings!

The WATCHLIST has been adjusted to place numbers by the names and I'm sure it will change multiple times as I see more players or catch some that I haven't seen enough of yet to those who want to know my rhyme or reasoning on doing this, one more time, I have to see the player MYSELF.
