She is an athletic player who uses every bit of her 5'10 frame. She rebounds at a high level. She can score from all levels, either putting it on the floor from the high post and beyond, or hitting threes. She has great shot mechanics, and picks her spots and goes hard. I love the effort. She got to the free throw line and made most. She can literally play any position on the floor and play it well. She gives maximum effort but I would not call her a role player, she has been one of the best players on the floor in three games I watched in the last week. Playing with two different teams. She has a great feel for the game and is very skilled with the ball in her hands. She has a great hesitation move to set up her jumpers or get to the basket. She displayed some nice spin moves in the paint to get her into a little fade away jumper. She is almost automatic if left alone from three. She has game and it is obvious she has worked at it. You don't have that offensive talent without a lot of work. She was great in the tournament, knocking down shots from all levels. Player to watch next season as she is capable of getting 40 any given night. ","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["301066"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Lainee is a point guard by nature but with this team she often plays the two. [player_tooltip player_id='464997' first='Aniya' last='Hooker'] plays the point most of the time. It doesn't matter, Lainee is showing off her game anywhere she plays. She did some notable things. She is a downhill threat always and that got her 10 free throws in one game. She also went to the left for the mid-range pull up from 15 feet. She made two of the three she tried and that adds to her offensive repertoire. She has great handles, as I said she is normally playing the point. She looks to be a good shooter, but doesn't take many threes but that's fine when you attempt 10 free throws. She is aggressive and quick on the defensive end. One of the best guards in the state of Washington. As are a couple of teammates. ","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["464997"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Aniya held down the point guard duties for Team Stuck. She does it well, rarely turning it over or making bad decisions. She is an elite ball handler with elite quickness. She uses that quickness to get downhill and score. She is explosive off the high ball screen, no hesitation. She has a great understanding of the change of pace dribble and uses it often. She also changes direction with ease, going between the legs, behind the back, you name it. She also had some nice drive and kicks. She is a scoring point guard but is not a selfish one by any means. She will find open teammates. She does a good job of keeping her head up at all times. She is explosive, and I'd mark that as her best asset but she does a lot of things well. She did it from all levels, hitting a couple of threes and getting tough baskets inside. She has that toughness to her game and is able to fill the stat sheet. Her intensity and effort won't show up on the sheet but it always shows up in the game. Her talent is top notch, combine the two and you have a prospect that is a winner. I saw some great up and under moves off of drives to the paint. Cross overs, and spins, which are all effective. Her strength is a big part of being able to score from all levels.
