Jaynie, a guard on Team 1 coached by Molly and Em, was selected as the team’s MVP after putting together an impressive performance at the Alma Elite Camp. An Alma College commit, Jaynie gave Coach Sami plenty to be excited about with the way she performed throughout the afternoon. During the drill work, she knocked down shots during the shooting portion while also showcasing strong ball-handling and finishing ability. She carried that momentum into the 5-on-5 action, where she showed she can score at all three levels and consistently found herself in the right position defensively. Jaynie also ran the floor hard in transition, turning her speed and effort into scoring opportunities. Her all-around performance made her a clear choice for Team 1’s MVP.

Jaynie is operating with supreme confidence right now, and it showed at BCAM Reaching Higher. She had the ball on a string. Jaynie shifted gears and switched hands effectively to slash and score or facilitate the rock to open teammates. Her sharp instincts and anticipation on the defensive end created deflections and steals. Jaynie pushed the ball up the floor with pace to create transition points. She shot lights out from beyond the arc, sinking multiple threes from the wing and slot with pinpoint accuracy. DeWitt will be a tough out again this season, and Jaynie looks ready for a huge senior year.

Jaynie buried six triples in January to help DeWitt upset Haslett and came through in the clutch to help the Panthers make a memorable postseason run to the State Semifinals. She’s a sniper from beyond the arc, handles the ball confidently, finishes at the rim with her right or left, works hard on the defensive end, and contributes as a rebounder. Jaynie has been red hot from three-point range to start the travel season for MBA UA Rise and looks poised for a breakout spring.

Jaynie exuded confidence on Saturday at the PGH Michigan State Tournament with MBA UA Rise 2027. She drained 3-pointers up top with sound mechanics and attacked hard to the rim, finishing an authoritative and-one layup plus the free throw. Jaynie aggravated opposing guards with her ball pressure, swiped steals, and created transition offense.

Jaynie is a versatile guard for MBA UA Rise 2027 who can let it fly from 3-point distance. She caught fire in a game against Holt, burying three straight from the wing to end a second-quarter surge for DeWitt last season. Jaynie is active on defense and confident with the ball in her hands. She’s a guard I’m excited to watch closely at our PGH Michigan State Tournament.
