. Adisyn is a fundamentally sound guard who cuts well to get open, throws on target passing (even one-handed passes), and takes good shots. She is a great defender as well. She keeps her head on a swivel, is in stance, stunts on drives and closes out to shooters. She is a multi-year starter for the Blue Jays and is ready for another good season running the point.

Jamestown has been stuck in the middle of the WDA for the past couple of seasons. The WDA has some really good teams and Jamestown is hoping to knock one of the powerhouses out of the State Tournament and sneak in next year. Yunck will be critical if that is to occur. She is a point guard with a ton of experience playing varsity basketball. Her ability to handle the rock and get her teammates open is impressive. She is a quick athlete with a quick release. She can knock down the three and get to the basket.

Jamestown has some potential to make some noise in 2026-2027 with many returning players. Yunck is one of those returners with varsity experience. She is a quality guard who keeps improving every season. This shows her work ethic is strong and she finds different ways to get better. One of the first things you will notice watching Adisyn play is the effort she brings to the court. She is clearly one of the hardest working girls on the floor. Coach Porter says that Addy is a natural floor leader. She sees the floor well and can keep space in the half-court with her three-point shooting. She can also get downhill and make the right reads at the rim.

Adisyn played over 500 minutes as a sophomore, helping lead a young Jamestown team in a tough WDA. She averaged over 6 points per game and was her team’s best three-point shooter. She should continue to improve her percentage from behind the arc and will be an absolute sniper by the time she is a senior. She is a quality ball-handler and gives great effort defensively. The Blue Jays will be tough next season and Adisyn will be a big reason why.
