Braylee is a player with a lot of potential as a recruit and a higher ceiling than other girls in this class because of her elite athleticism and height for a guard. Standing at a long 5’10 and with a quick burst of speed, Braylee is a recruit I would take a hard look at. She is fast and speedy up the court and has the potential to be an unbelievable defender. She continues to gain confidence on the offensive end and should have an opportunity to be productive this season for the Blue Jays. Her ability to defend multiple positions, her jumping ability and quickness, and a hunger to get better has Braylee sitting as the number 16 ranked girl in the 2028 class.

The Jamestown, ND native took her time getting a feel for things early, looking for where she could make an impact and fit in. Once she got comfortable, her game started to open up. Serfoss displayed good court vision and used her length to get to her spots and create quality looks. She found plenty of success in the mid-range, rising up and shooting over the top of smaller defenders. As the day went on, the confidence grew, the range stretched out and she started finding her way into the paint with more consistency. I liked how she didn’t force the issue early and allowed the game to come to her. By the end of the day, Braylee had shown several different pieces of her game and can head back to Jamestown knowing she put together a productive day with plenty to build on.

Braylee is another athlete who only played a limited amount of games last season, appearing in 10 contests. She had some limited minutes in those games but her potential as a player is as good as any I’ve seen. I was able to get eyes on her a handful of times this summer and was very impressed with what I saw. She is an exceptional athlete and has the frame of a college guard. She has the quickness, length, and jumping ability to have a very high ceiling. She has two more high school seasons and I think she is going to ball-out.

Braylee made a huge leap to the top 20 in the 2028 class after I was able to watch her this summer AAU season. She has college athlete written all over her. She seems taller than her 5’9 listed height (I’d put her around the 5’10-5’11 range). She has incredibly long arms that will be very valuable the next two seasons of her high school career. She is one of the top athletes in AA. Her athletic ability alone makes her an excellent prospect. I expect big things these next two seasons out of the Blue Jay standout.

Serfoss is one of the more intriguing prospects in the state. Standing next to her this weekend leads me to think she is closer to the 5’10-5’11 range. Her lengthy arms are a defensive coach’s dream. She can disrupt passing lanes and provide great ball-pressure without getting blown by. She is a terrific athlete and has the frame that college coaches look for in a guard. She must have been injured for most of the season in 2025-2026 because she only played in 10 games. This must have been a critical blow to Jamestown’s post season hopes. She looks healthy now and ready to contribute. Look for the Blue Jays to soar to more wins next season.

Braylee is an intriguing young prospect that only played in 10 games this season for the Jamestown Blue Jays. I anticipate her becoming a big time player in 2026-2027. She is on a good AAU team with a quality coach who is going to push her to improve. Serfoss has the frame of a college guard. She is 5’9 with very long arms. Her strength and definition stands out over other players her age. She can attack downhill with a very quick first step. She rises above opponents near the rim with an impressive vertical. Coach Dietz appreciates Braylee’s defense. She utilizes those long arms to be a tough and disruptive defender.

Braylee is a great athlete and longer than her 5’9 listing.  She runs the floor hard and has a great feel for the game.  She naturally cuts and creates space in the half court.  She is good in ball-screen coverage, hedging the screen and getting back to the roller quickly.  She can take the ball in transition herself and makes proper decisions with the ball.
