One of the all-around best talents in the state, regardless of classification, the 5’10 star can play any position on the floor for the Cardinals, and is a heavy favorite for state player of the year come season’s end. Coming off an incredible 45-point game against Burns in the opening round of the tournament, Schimel left no doubt that she will be one of the players to watch next weekend as she hopes to lead her team, last year’s runners-up, to a championship.
