The 3A Finals look like is going to be ultra-competitive. This past week I got a chance to watch Providence in the Regional Finals and their game was a close one against San Jose Prep. In looking at the street sheet, one of the strengths of Providence stood out - their three-point shooting. The three-point shooting could play a part in the final outcome. In this article, we look at the top three-point shooters from the remaining 4 teams in Class 3A.

[player_tooltip player_id='346853' first='Janai' last='Jordan'] was the difference in the Regional Finals with 5 three-pointers and 20 points. Jordan can drive it, shoot the midrange shot, and score the ball. She has knocked down 71 threes for the season. Jordan has a great feel for the game and the bigger the moment, the better she is.

[player_tooltip player_id='430261' first='Janie' last='Boyd'] has knocked down 36 threes for the season and she is another clutch three-point shooter. Boyd is more selective on her three-point attempts this season, but she can shoot the rock. Boyd leads her team in scoring with 14.1 points per game. She gets to the free throw line often and just knows how to score the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='243900' first='Kali' last='Barrett'] has knocked down 36 threes and she is a clutch player. If it takes the three, Barrett can beat you with it, but she can impact the game in a lot of ways. Last week, Barrett was 3 of 5 from behind the arc. She also grabbed 11 rebounds, recording a double-double

[player_tooltip player_id='221653' first='Jada' last='Johnson'] scores primarily from behind the arc. She has knocked down 31 threes and shoots it at a 36 percent rate.

[player_tooltip player_id='217667' first='Kayla' last='Nelms'] knocked down 25 threes from the forward position and averaged 14.1 points per game. Nelms makes her impact everywhere and definitely in the post. She has one of the best inside games in all the classes. I've seen her several times and she is a force. Nelms can rebound it as well. She averaged 8.7 rebounds per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='221602' first='Kori' last='Edge'] shot the three at a 38 percent rate, connecting on 24 of her 67 three-point attempts. Edge and teammates collectively make a lot of threes. Edge is fast, shifty, and crafty. She can put pressure on the ball handler, and she can score in transition.
