York won handily without needing huge contributions from [player_tooltip player_id='408995' first='Reese' last='Beaty']. [player_tooltip player_id='831251' first='Zoe' last='Gibson'] looked very comfortable and confident in this one. She played very well....especially for a freshman.

Dycus Thoughts:

I'm already resting up for the McMinn Central vs York 1st round AA battle. These are two of the top programs in the state, and both have hopes of a state championship that will come to an end for one of the teams in the 1st round.

For three quarters, it seemed as if Summertown was destined for its 7th state tourney appearance in 13th years. Huntington had other plans, however, including an 11-1 run in the final 3:48 to secure a spot in the AA state tournament.

Bartlett dominated this game, and [player_tooltip player_id='290717' first='Carrington' last='Jones'] has been on a tear of late.....and so has this Bartlett squad. Between [player_tooltip player_id='290717' first='Carrington' last='Jones'] and [player_tooltip player_id='409005' first='Zoey' last='Rixter'].....Bartlett is just as scary as ever heading into the 4A playoffs. This team always seems to make a deep run, and I'm not expecting anything to change this postseason. The Bartlett culture is a winning one....and they always seem to find a way to make a deep run into March. And I think this team will too.
