The Milton native has been a significant part of the Red Hawks’ emergence as a successful program over the past few seasons. Buttchen hunts her shot and can score the ball from all three levels. She’s a solid athlete who competes on the defensive end of the floor. Regional programs should make time to see her play with her Team Herro group at some point this AAU season.

I was impressed with Kylee, not so much when she had the ball in her hands, where she was highly effective, but also when she was cutting to get open. Her ability to find the correct angles, coupled with strong hands, helped her finish over and through traffic, with either hand, drawing several fouls on the defense. Coming off of a season where she shot 111 free throws, I expect that number to only grow!

Buttchen was the offensive key to her team on day 1. She’s aggressive and fearless on every drive and knows when to attack and when to have patience. Plays with a ton of fire and never stops moving. Being one of the smallest players on the floor, she was a major threat on the boards.

After the senior class at Milton graduates, Buttchen is the kid with the most potential. Her ability to make things happen off the dribble and scoring at all three levels set her apart. She’s a solid athlete who plays multiple sports, but we saw what she could do at times this season, and she’ll be one to watch in the Badger-Large next season. I’m a fan of what Buttchen could do. She’ll be one to watch with her Let it Rain-Davenport group.

Milton has put together a talented group these last few years, and Buttchen has been the kid who’s looked the best on the offensive end of the floor. Defensively, she flies all over the place and will dive on the floor for a minuscule chance of earning her team an extra possession. That mentality is contagious, and the Milton team plays with desperation, which has led to success for the Red Hawks this season. Shots may not have fallen as much for her this season, but she’s a threat to make shots in bunches.

. She’s the kid who seems most threatening on the floor for the Red Hawks this season. She has a quick first step, and teams respect her ability to beat them from the perimeter. Buttchen has been a solid two-way kid for Milton and will be a name to know in the Badger-Large for the next few seasons.

has a strong shooting ability with a quick release. Her footwork on the catch-and-shoot is impressive. She’s also great at finishing through contact and shows it off often in transition. When she beats her defender to the basket, it’s almost a sure thing she’ll score or draw a foul. She also has a nice pull-up jumper in her toolkit adding another dimension to her scoring. Kylee is scrappy and frequently picks up steals that make a real impact on defense. She’s a tough on-the-ball defender and always seems to be in the right spot for help defense. Right now, she’s averaging 14.8 points per game while shooting 50% from the field and 33% from three.
