If there was a name consistently stamped across the 3A stat leaders — and even competing with numbers across all classifications — it was Zoe. She averaged 14.2 points per game (5th overall), while also pulling down 5.8 rebounds (5th), dishing out 5 assists (2nd), and collecting 2.8 steals (10th) per contest.

Zoe is the engine behind Morgan’s offense — a true workhorse who impacts every possession. She doesn’t just score; she facilitates, rebounds out of her position, and creates extra possessions with her defensive pressure. Any team preparing for Morgan knows the priority is containing Zoe, because when she controls the tempo, everything else opens up for the Trojans.

3A All-Tournament Team

It was clear that the opposing defense made Zoe the focal point of their scouting report, doing everything they could to limit her touches and force the ball out of her hands. But when a player can rise up from well beyond the arc and bury shots cleanly, defenses are forced to extend — and that’s when everything else opens up. She plays with poise, never rushing or panicking against tight on-ball pressure. Late in games, she’s reliable at the stripe, calmly converting free throws to close the door and guide her team across the finish line.

Zoe has been one of the most consistent performers in the 2028 class. Whether she’s scoring herself or creating opportunities for others, she finds ways to impact the game every night. Her length gives her an advantage most guards don’t have and raises her ceiling on the recruiting side. While other sophomores are just stepping into larger roles, Zoe began doing that as a freshman and has continued to elevate her game. Her deep-range three makes her difficult to defend, and with more teammates stepping up around her this season, her team’s success should continue to draw attention her way.

Zoe was constantly making things happen on the floor — not just through scoring, but by keeping herself active and available. She moved with purpose, always cutting, screening, or positioning herself to be an option. Her awareness and willingness to do the small things — like finding open space or drawing defenders away from teammates — made everyone around her look better.

Rockenfield is a dynamic guard who combines length and strength effectively. This past weekend, she was a constant presence, contributing in various ways across the court. She demonstrated her shooting ability by hitting several deep three-pointers and also showed her versatility by making plays inside. Known for her tenacious defensive approach, Rockenfield consistently challenges the opposing team’s best player, regardless of size. Her all-around skill set suggests she could be a player to watch, potentially even achieving multiple triple-doubles this season.

There are plenty of strong returners in 3A, but few as young and impactful as Rockenfield. As a freshman, she made an immediate impact and still has three more years to keep it going. She’s versatile enough to step in wherever needed and has a smooth three-pointer that stretches defenses. Zoe was already stepping up as a leader last year as just a freshman. She’s been running the point, but if a teammate steps up, she can slide to where she’s most dangerous—knocking down open 3s or driving hard to the rim. She’ll keep making noise this season.
